Embedding Images & Videos In Posts
In order to embed images and videos in content now you should be able to first upload it to the site by creating a new image or video post. Then it will have a field called "Guns Lot Code" on the side with code that you can copy and then paste into any post on this site. Hopefully that will save you a bit of time and make it a little less confusing. Maybe this can be refined a bit more in the future as well. For example: Will yield:

Grease, all you have to do is insert it into the comment section. Just copy and paste it in the first line of the comment,

i used quinton's code and it worked!so where do i get the codes from?in "my pics" in my computer?

If the picture is not on Gunslot you need to first upload it to Gunslot.
If the picture is already on Gunslot you can grab the code on the picture page. This goes for any picture or video, not just yours.

went from photobucket to Gunslot upload image,clicked on all the different categories,nothing yet.

what quinton was talking about is that now every pic on gunslot has a code up on the right near the top of the screen.copy and paste this code right in where i put this writing write now and then the pic will appear.pics have to be already on gunslot for it to work though.

just trying to go from photobucket to the post,looking for a way to convert the picture size,so far without much luck,might have to convert its size at the camera

can be converted smaller in photobucket, first click on the photo you want to resize and move your pointer to the top of the pic where a box will appear and choose 'resize'. One thing to remember is that you can only size down not back up so if you go too small you will need to re upload the photo and start over.

The new ships for the Navy is a JOKE!! I'm lucky if I can get this thing turned on. Wife is computer geek in family. She got so pissed off attemping to get the 3 pics and text to gunslot membership, she got her shotgun and was going to shoot the thing. She is also non-violent and never gets angry (except at me, of course). Married to her 43 years. She viewed the suggestions, and yes I can send the entire email to individuals, ie. Randy Mc, but cannot get it posted for everyone to see?? When you see the pics and read the text it makes sense and is funny. How the he_ _ do you get it to everyone, or is that impossible?

I managed to "git-r-done" by paying attention and doing a bit of editing. Thanks ISD, check out the post now it really makes sense.
