Well, we're still here. Yay! I guess the mayan calendar just ended because they figured ~5000 years was enough and they make another one later. :o

OK, I'm not wanting to be a jerk or downplay the shootings, but I realized something last night while at Wal-Mart. Maybe the reason there are people snapping and shooting crowds of people isn't mainly due to accessibility to guns, or a chemical imbalance in their brain that the big pharma can resolve, or party they voted for in the election. Maybe, it's because people today are rude, with out any courtesy, oblivious to anything but themselves, and just generally shitty to other people.

It's been a while since I've been out in public, staying at home with the kid and all, and I've forgotten how crappy most people are. I guess my tolerance went down a bit. But I was thinking to myself, there are many people who are still alive only for the fact that:

1.) I'm a Christian and try to ignore these unGodly thoughts and follow in the Lord's teachings
2.) It's illegal

But you remove those two things and I would be a killer. Maybe those people doing the shootings had enough to push them over. I'm not justifying them, buy I'm just saying maybe our REAL focus should be on, stop being assholes to other people. Maybe that's the solution here.
