evolution of posting?

Marvin, Quinton, Reaper308, and or samD,
I have noticed that there is a lot more content being contributed in the picture section of the site. The posting includes a picture and then a narrative. Although this seems like an efficient way to convey information, I can not figure out how to track this content as it is not listed in the forums. Beside the commeraderie on this site, I visit this site because of the vast amount of information archived via the forums. I can go back to a topic listed in the forum and revisit the information. As the site is designed right now, I am missing some of the content. Is there a way that we can add this new way of posting content to an archive or something similiar?

thank you
clint

just asking...

perhaps I am the only one annoyed by missing content because I do not have the time to index every members pictures from a day that I may missed being on the site.

PMing

Since when has this become a covert forum, seems like an oxymoron. I asked a simple question, if it ruffled feathers, then that is a psychological response to an internal problem for that individual. I am getting tired of people telling me to take a chill pill (opening a can of worms there with this crowd). I listed this in an open forum because maybe there were others that noticed the same evolution and it irrtated them. If no one else cares, I am the minority and I can accecpt that. (edited due to respect for samD)

Geez sorry Clint.

I cannot fix anything on this site. I can delete shit & shitheads and monitor dialogues. Quinton is the webmaster and I have no more pull with them than anyone else. I did not mean to ruffle your feathers, you are one of my oldest and BFFs on here. samD is taking 4 chill pills and will calm down now... Sorry. mea Culpa

MARV/QUIN

I know these guys are busy, but how long does it usually take for them to respond to a PM? samD, I know you have dealt with them in private, what kind of response time should I expect?

thank you

sorry, I just now read your message. Like sam said, we can only delete. Quinton is hit and miss as far as response time. Depends on how much he has on his plate at the moment.

Reaper is right, its a hit and miss. I know from my pm's to Quinton that he takes his sweet time with them considering he has other fish to fry ect.

I agree with the point you raised in your initial question here.
I would like there to be a good way to find previously posted material and/or comments.
This would take classification system for each posting, and perhaps even for each comment. The classifications(s) could either be put on by the one doing the initial posting and/or comment, or it could be "automatic"; i.e., generated by the subject or content of the post or comment. The "automatic" option would undoubtedly be very difficult to do, and Marvin/Quinton/Admin might well decide that it wasn't worth the very significant effort required.
There would have to be common agreement as to the possible classifications. In order to work well with a good search engine, there would have to be many, many classifications.

Reaper agrees with snake that reaper is right, ecaman sees the validity of the point raised by clintlebo, clintlebo was angry at subs and took it out on samD, and the owners of the site are busy guys that help out when they have time.
