Raffy, dude, how the hell do you have over 1000 points, I really need to get on the ball and start posting stuff.
raffycanlas
hahaha, i usually just talk talk talk lol, trying to help some about guns and getting me some help about gun info too. and i dont have a nascar forum to be joinin so me and sam and a few others usually talk about nascar here too haha.
oh and talking about sylvia saint haha, that dad gum hot czechoslovakian piece of bubble ass!
catfish88
Yea, Raffy I guess I don't talk enough. I've noticed there are alot of Chechosovakian porn stars lately...or....uh...I mean, you told me there were...yea, that's it....you'd think if you went to Czech, you be surrounded by a bunch of hot women, however, I bet if you went, they'd all look about as hairy as I am and just as handsome.
raffycanlas
but its ok, ill let them rape me as long as they give me their full auto czech ak's lol.
btw, nice choices there too, m1 carbine is nice too, from what ive seen, but i havent seen one in person.
catfish88
Raffy, Well, I don't think I'd let just any of them rape me. But a czech AK is awfully tempting. I've only held a m1 carbine at a gun show. I had a friend who had a M1 Garand and he let me borrow it for a while. I love that rifle. Very heavy though. It made me have a whole new respect for those guys in WWII lugging that thing around all the time.
raffycanlas
there were etches on the stock, the guy sad it belonged to his dad and back in the war, he would etch a dash on the stock of his garand for every guy he killed, and let me tell ya, there was plenty of etches.
catfish88
That's cool. That's the other thing, if you can get one, they can have a great history to them. By the way, how did you post a picture in a forum on the other thread? I've tried to do that before and was unable. Maybe it's a feature that you can only obtain after hitting 1000 points.
raffycanlas
sure man no problem, if you cant find him lemme know.
raffycanlas

dystubenrauch
mine would have to be the grandaddy of the ak and all other modern assault rifles. the mp-44 or the Sturmgewehr 44 (German for storm rifle).

I hafta vote this as my fav for WWII guns. My father also used and admired his in Korea (full-auto version, M2 I think).
The M1 carbine hits a sweet spot for capacity, power, light weight and compactness. For a majority of engagements, military or otherwise, it is adequate and has power/range to spare when compared to pistol-cal subguns.
I'm thinking of getting the AO/Kahr tactical version....side folding syn stock w/rail. Mainly for the wife, but if she doesn't like it then woohoo I have a new gun!
greg az
Had one, mine was a Universal.. ran well, i bought a Ruger Blackhawk in 30 carbine to go with it, (was thinking of punching metal rams at the time) Didn't like the cartridge in the Ruger, but sure did like the rifle.. weight is always a factor and a 30 round magazine in 30 carbine is a lot lighter than an AK, or AR.. I had an underfolding stock on mine and closed down to nice size..
Another benny of the .30 carbine (obvious disadvantages) is most indoor ranges will let you shoot the round..
ScramasaxDurango
Hmm well I have a Spanish Mauser and a Mosin-Nagant, both of which I like to take out and shoot, so I'd probably have to go with
M1 Garand
Browning Hi-Power
Kar 98K
Mosin-Nagant
Snake
Springfield M1903 30-06
M1 Carbine .30
Sten 9mm
Mosin Nagant 7.62x54mm
ScramasaxDurango
Why the Springfield over the Mauser? Just curious-- they're pretty similar and I always wonder what makes someone choose one over the other.
luckybychoice
by God American, wheh, i just had a vision of some ancient looking rebel soldier sitting in a wheelchair with a rifle across his blanket covered lap, huh, wonder what that means.
ScramasaxDurango
Hmmm true, but the Springfield basically used a Mauser action. I tend to group them into the same family, along with the FN and Austrian Mausers, as opposed to, I dunno, like the Lebels and Mosin-Nagants, which have a related mechanism.
Snake
Springfield is american, its just what I would pic. Hell someone give me a K98k and yeah I would use it to but if I had to choose I would take the springy.
PirateTattooist
It saved Stalin's Russia and probly the war. If the russians didnt have the ppsh-41 when nazi germany tried to take stalingrad, they could have broke through and who knows what would have happend. But The PPSH-41 is an amazing weapon, and I think it is not a recognized as it should be, i guess we all know of the m16 ond the 1911 cuz we live in america, but the ppsh-41 is a russian icon. Screw the AK, the ppsh is what I want
runawaygun762
Here's a pic that ought to get you hot.
