we use your standard Mexican...lol
Dont tell ebear that, them border jumpers provide beans for ebears casseroles. LOL I am just messin a bit. Here in Va we use cantaloupe and Watermelon and occasionally a rotten zucchini.
WE USE WHITE PEOPLE!!!!LOLOLOL
all the white people moved out of Chicago & Illinois... Except the Daley's and they own you!
No question about it, no better target anywhere, than beer cans.. If you all would have read my post MOBC (min. of beer can)that took me close to an hour to write, you would know this, but NNNOOO you gota spend all your time look'n at pics of semi naked ladys when you could be reading my profound words..shhessss
I agree with you. Beer cans are what we use here. The best part is providing them.
Shakin' up Dr.Pepper cans, and milk jugs filled with water!
Here in Kali, every week we have something new to shoot at! Since every week your tv, washer, dryer, stereo, ceiling fan, electric tooth brush, end up being illegal because they are no longer up to the new "energy star" rating. Me personally I like empty freon cylinders with water and compressed air in them. They are not outdated electrical items but waaaay more fun!
When you use it as a shiv after sodomizing yourself with it?
portable target stands with clips i can attach paper targets to but there are 2 shelves that i can stand anything up to 6 milk jugs on,3 on each shelf and blast away,so i save up cans and bottles, blast 'em and then recycle them.
But when i lived back in cali a buddy found a bunch of old fire extingushers, they were fun flippin all over the place spraying everywere
four steel popper targets, two 3/4 torso hanging steel targets, and I cut up my moving boxes into IPSC or IDPA targets and staple to my homemade target stands. And of course the one gallon milk jugs filled with water. Those are a lot of fun.
GO NAVY!!! What do you mean?
ITS CALLED FOOTBALL.AND I GOT MY MONEY ON THE MIDSHIPMEN OF ANNAPOLIS TO BEAT THEM BOYS FROM UPSTATE NEW YORK...THE ARMY
the overall score is 53-49.
But Navy sucks....EACH OTHER!!!
and just before Hannuka!!!! Run you filthy bastard!!!!!
though i want to get them tannerite targets. them look fun
they are usually full of wet-backs
makes good cannon targets at 1100 yds
I'll remember to shut the light off if I leave
Them tanerite targets are so much fun. I have blown up all kinds of things with it. Another thing I have set up on my out range is bowling pins. My local bowling alley sells them for like a buck a peice and when you can shoot the head of a bowling pin off at 300 meters you are doing alright. They handle .30 caliber and smaller really well. We even set up two ten counts and bowl with our 12 gauges.
I gotta go to the bowling alley and see if they will sell me the old ones. I didn't know they sell them that cheap, but I guess why not, right!
They have to replace their pins every so often if they hold any bowling leagues that are ABC sponsored because of ABC rules. They are a blast to shoot at. I drilled mine out and cut rebar into 2 foot lengths to push into the ground so they dont fall over with every shot.
have any problems with ricochets with smaller calibers? WE shot at PVC with a .22 and they kept glancing off of the pipe!
Yea with .22's we have some ricochets, but when we shoot at the pins we are usually shooting larger callibers. I made some of the steel pop up targets for the .22's and they work awesome.
Paper, cardboard, beercans, IRS forms. OK, no beer cans.
I like to build a small fire pit , ensuring I have a good backstop like the bottom of a hill. (this has to be done way out in the desert). I start a fire in the pit and fill a 40oz glass bottle with gasoline..about 1/4 full with fine sand, 1/2 gasoline and leave the last 1/4 empty. Then set it on a large rock just in front of the fire pit. Go back about 300 yards and start plinking. I dont recommend trying this unless you are positive there are no chances other people will wander into range. I always do this when Im out open desert camping min. 10 miles into nowhwere in the Nevada desert. Its pretty cool at late afternoon/early dusk.
DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!!!!
I done a little bit of land clearing with the home made napalm....will not include what else is in there but it was much more effective than the usual propane torch...be warned bravo is right DO NOT try this at home.
Yep I know a few good additives to make it much more interesting but I wont give up that kinda info in public forum as well.
SNAKES as always.
shooting milk jugs with water in them love to watch them explode and there are some jugs i shoot with my single shot pump lol
Single shot pump?
i keep it in my jeans and when your my age its a single shoot pump do i need to go farther? lol
Fruit,soda/cheap cans of beer, paper, bottles and jugs full of water. My husband been wanting to fill a coconut shell with a mixture of ground paper and cherry gelatin and tag that at 100 yards. That should look pretty neat...well,actually it would look messy, but really cool.
I am biased some and love our Zombie targets, but we make these so I admit to the bias... We will have them available to the public in August hopefully!
Otherwise I like the Sure Shot exploding targets.. We shot some up in Camp Verde this weekend and had the ground squirrels running!
Fun to shoot:
Take a 20-oz soda bottle, fill it mostly with water. Activate a lightstick, cut it open, pour the Predator-blood-stuff into the bottle and shake it up. In low light, even at 100yds, there's no mistaking a solid hit. Another upside is that a 20oz bottle does a pretty good impression of the size of the central vital zone....use a 2-liter bottle if you want a slightly bigger target. Hidden behind a cardboard silhouette wearing an old t-shirt, this setup will really help illustrate the importance of accuracy and not allowing yourself to excuse peripheral hits.
In daylight, several drops of blue or red food coloring work great, with no sugary bug-attracting mess vs. soda or juice.
Do not shoot:
Shaken-up cans of Fix-A-Flat......they can separate into 2 very sharp pieces with very high velocity and leave you figuring out how to paste down a bit of your scalp with ShoeGoo and duct tape. Ask me how I know.
Grenades, artillery simulators, 'dud' .50BMG shells, microwaved Kinepak (horrible idea to begin with), chickens with grenades taped to them...the list goes on and on. I was young, stupid, and had access to lots of ordnance once.
We Finally Have Sure Shot Targets In Stock!!!!
They are more powerful than the tannerite that we used to have still a low price!
Targets that are a BLAST to shoot!
I had to throw that corney line in there!
PS: Gunslot members get a 10% off discount on any Sure Shot orders between now and the end of August 2010. Discount will be applied as a refund on your order after it is placed, be sure to use GUNSLOTSS2010 as your discount code to mention to get this deal.
I make my own self resetting metal reactionary targets. If I am sighting in I use paper targets on a stand made of PVC pipe.
I use metal targets that I got off of the internet. I totally enjoy these targets and they are very reliable. I highly recommend the seller to anyone. The site is quality targets.com. I recommend everyone check it out.
glad to see ya on tonite.we all (drank) in yer honor tonite.mine was strictly theoretical of course but as I toasted ya I could taste it.

on the distance, where I'm shooting and who is around.
Cars are fun for a bit but it gets old.
Milk bottle caps are fun and so are shotgun hulls.
watermelons and other vegetables, tore some doors out and shot them full of oo buckshot,CD covers mounted on a board, playing cards face front and on edge,a washing machine until one guy shot #6 at it and pellets riccocheted back on us,not cool.
Musta been a WW2 surplus maytag to deflect #6 shot.Dang!
Like stepping into a BeeHive...
you shot any thing you want to but you have to move fast,on the water any can the floats dose will..........TY
