Fighting Back

Lately everyone seems to want semi or full automatic weapons to defend our way of life from the forces of the evil empire, forgetting that experience has proven that full autos are extremely inefficient, and semi's are prone to breakdown at critical times and temperatures. With this in mind, also be aware that the American hunters as a group, are the world's largest army. If one then factors in all other firearms owners in the country the sheer numbers make the evil empire cringe. the knowledge that all these people are engaged in constant marksmanship training (read: one shot -- one kill), It behooves them to take a different path to socialism. It would seem the currant administration wants to bankrupt the country thus forcing a socialistic form of government on a helpless population. Therefore, I urge all citizens to become much more politically attuned and active on both the local and national levels. Who's with me? Anyone?

agree

i believe you 100 percent and do all i can in my own little corner of the world. that is why we as a whole have not been invaded since this country was started. we had to fight to start and we need to fight to keep it. maybe not on the battlefield but in the newspapers, court systems, and anywhere else we can. keep it up ya'll.

See, I'm a man of simple tastes. I like dynamite, and gunpowder... And gasoline! Do you know what all of these things have in common? They're cheap!

Just my opinion

Your 100% right,But i think they are planning something a little more subtle.....do you think "they have the decency to even play fair and let us fight face to face"....no "we the people" outnumber them 1000 to 1.

Declare Martial Law
Hostile takeover
I think Obama really thinks he can do it.

My deadline to sign on to his new medical
bill passed on 12/31 and I said fuck him

My medicine would have gone up $350.00
per year on co=pay + $40.00 per month payment.
How does that help me?

Another thing Mr Obama I'm on 100% disability.
The government doesn't offer a family plan like
it is trying to force on the work-force.

U S Government I know you are monitoring chat rooms
I saw it on New Years Eve. The amount of traffic that was
being monitored.

Our government is going to hell, no one gives a shit
about the people just their pockets and power

Correct, they spend one day in elected office and walk away with a lifetime of benefits...

I've always said keep your revolver and
deer rifle. When the time comes you need
one of those other guns there will be plenty
laying on the ground.
I love my Marlin 30-30 and my Taurus 357.
I'll stick with them until WW111 is on my doorstep
because I'm very comfortable with them.

i think your absolutely right cw, but before what you said happens i think there is going to be some major pre emptive steps they are going to take to increase the odds first (depopulate). some of which are already in effect i.e poverty/super inflation to keep us weak and distracted... ill try not to make this too long i could literally go on forever. if we are poor we buy food instead of guns ect., we work, eat, sleep, pay taxes and keep our focus on the rat race while b_g br-ther runs the gov. If a tower or two blows up well go to war without question...darn "terrorists", if a random virus is rumored to spread we will get the vaccine(to save us) how nice of them.ect ect ect if an oil rig spills...oh dear...what an unfortunate accident. gun laws...health care....vietnam...actually every war since WWII ....war on terror haha what a joke....weapons of mass destruction...where?...i just threw up in my mouth im going to stop for now

Definitely food for thought.
1,000 to 1 ?
I think that is a little low and how many
cops, soldiers etc would defect before
attacking the public?
But I do remember Kent State.

Sad truth that, but it is an eventuality of all civilizations in some shape or form.

If we kicked them all out and started over
there would have to be a better watch-dog
checks & balance than we now have or it would be
a waste of time.

My two cents

Pratice, pratice, pratice been hearing that all my life growing up. I have my SKS with hi-cap mags, a .45, and a shot gun. I can protect and hunt for food if need be. Far as a fair government it will never happen for it will always be run by man or woman and crooks in general will find a way to get in and start all over again. To mention Thomas Jefferson today he would say we need to go into the government and spary for rats.

There are certainly great shots out there, but what percentage of centerfire hunting rifles really have more than a box or two every season through them? Hitting a game animal to ensure a quick, clean kill requires shots at much closer ranges than hitting a man in a spot to take him out of the fight. A shot with a scoped .30-06 at 400 yards on a game animal is a pretty decent shot, but it's barely scratching the surface of that cartridge's potential against people.

Supressive fire is also a valid military tactic, and it's one that is awfully difficult to do with bolt or lever actions

"I have always been a soldier. I have known no other life. The calling of arms, I have followed from boyhood. I have never sought another." From The Virtues of War, by Steven Pressfield.

lay out some pretty good supressive fire if he is good. A squad coming in and they have two or three in their squad have a sudden case of leaking head makes them hold up for at least a few minutes until they can try and locate the shooter and you make it a two man team and they could really wreak some havoc. One shoot while the other moves position and then change it to keep them guessing.

We are well armed as a public and that is a beautiful thing. We all need to train more though and in more effective ways as shooting at a target or game is much different than shooting at an enemy that is returning fire. I also liked the last comment on suppressive fire, it is valuable but so is conserving ammo and making every shot count. KEEP PRACTICING and stay sharp and aware.
