FN 5.7

Hi everybody, I am look for info on the break-in proceedure with an FN 5.7, that is of course if there is one.

I was told that one must be careful, fire one round and run a bore cleaner and repeat this 10 times.

Is there any truth to this.

Thanks

I always break any barrel in the same as the rest. One shot run a barrel swoab down the barrel and repeat 10 times. Then I fire three rounds and swoab the barrel and repeat for thirty rounds.

truthfully, you probably don't need all that for the five seven. you can never be too careful, so you can bore clean after every round for 100 if you like... but personally, I would shoot once, then bore clean. then I would shoot 10 rounds and bore clean. repeat the last a few times. you should be fine

Did you know that everyone who was ever had a major organ shot never survived to tell about it. If a person is shot with a 5.7 bullet in the head, heart, liver, kidney etc will not survive due to the massive damage done. A person hit in the hand, arm, leg etc within 200 meters will have that limb useless for life because the 5.7 x 28mm bullet turns that bone into powder.

The Secret Service, CIA, FBI are all keeping very secret the data they have from shootings with the FN Five Seven. Why is that? Why don’t they want the U.S. public to know that the FN Five Seven is the perfect Self Defense Weapon? It so easy even a 4 year and a Grand mother can use it.

Thank you

I've heard that the FN 5 7 is considered a hand rifle. With its 20 rnd mag and near rifle velocity, its a very potent gun

I agree

its a cool round that can reach 2500 FPS with a 35 gr. bullet and 1500 fps with a 68 gr. bullet. its available in FMJ, JHP, AP steel, tracer ect... although most of the cool ammo is class 3 or restricted to LE, you can still find some pre 1999 ban AP steel rounds for $20-$50 a piece

Turn bone to dust?

Get the fuck out of here. An AK doesn't turn bone to dust, how would the 5.7? It may be a decent round, but let's not make it out to be something it's not.

Sorry, I mean

powder. Turn bones to powder. It causes bone to splinter, thus creating secondary missiles, but a 22 can do that.

The 5.7 x 28mm round is a unique bullet. The bullet is small like a .22 cal with a big cartridge. The round flies a straight line at supersonic speeds. Things, bodies, bones etc hit at supersonic speeds behave differently then when hit at sub sonic speeds.

Thank you

5.7 is not magic

the armor piercing round can penetrate 32 layers of kevlar from the FN five seven, and 48 layers from the P90. The AK is supersonic, and uses a 123 +/- gr bullet, heavier than the 5.7 round and it doesn't turn bone to "powder".
