I'm looking at buying an FN Five Seven. Has anyone had any hands on shooting this? i have talked to several people and they like them. small caliber with the 5.7x28, but the ballistics seem decent.

never fired one. I have held one. I think they feel awkward and are ugly, but i agree with you, the 5.7x28 round is pretty cool. plus it holds 20+1, so great mag cap. I want to add one to my collection one day also, but have a few others in front. if you get one, let me know your opinion.

wasn't planning on carrying it. a little too bulky and the grip feels too bulky. i don't recommend anyone to carry anything that they aren't comfortable with. i have held one several times and talked to several officers who are now carrying them. the round will penetrate a vest, but your typical bad guy won't be wearing a vest and still would require perfect shot placement. i can buy one at cost, (840.00) so i think it would be a fun one to have
