Ebear
I've been called worse.....just today alone......Are'nt FN Guns from Argentina? I hear they're pretty good guns.
sytasyn_syn
FN Herstal is from Herstal, Belgium
Reaper308
you are right... FN Herstal is Belgium. but FN manufacturing (FN USA), who suppiles light and meduim machine guns to our armed forces (as you know)... and some pistols is in Columbia, South Carolina
Ebear
then who is the argentinian company im thinking of?God Bless you Syta
LLE
BERSA??
sytasyn_syn
I know Remington made a couple in factory's over there. But I can't think of a gun company that hails from Argentina.
Ebear
then answer Hunter's FN question!I did some homework and Bersa guns are made in Argentina
sytasyn_syn
I would but it would take WAAAAAAY too long. Hunter...you need to narrow the question down a bit. But for what It is worth, FN is a good Co. for rifles but I would never buy their pistols. Not that there is anything specific that is wrong with them, I just don't like them. They are just a all around cheap pistol.
Ebear
I went to gunbroker.com and found that Browning made a hi power FM Model 9 mm. made in argentina. Now I can sleep.lolol
Hunter59
I got on their site and all of their handguns but 1 are in 9mm. The other one is in some odd caliber. I have a 9mm, but I am thinkin about either a .40 or .45 pistol.
Reaper308
the other one you are talking about is probably the fiveseven... 5.7x28mm. i think its a cool round
sytasyn_syn
I would suggest the Springfield XDM or a Smith & Wesson M&P(you choose)
Hunter59
From both of those I would have 2 choose the Springfield XDM. It just feels better to me than the M&P. But I have also considered Sigs, Kimber 1911, Stoeger Cougar, H&K USP, CZ, and Taurus. Of this list I have felt of the Sig and the Cougar. I have yet to feel any 1911, so I dont know how I would like this style pistol. I cant find a USP to hold, never held a CZ, and I cant decide which model Taurus I like. I know that was confusing...any suggestions???
Reaper308
if you can afford it... go with sig. you will not be sorry.
Hunter59
I would like 2 shoot all of them before I actually purchase it, but I cant find a range anywhere near me that rents guns:(

Thanks for all the help everyone!

Anytime Buddy

We used the Browning 9mm Hi power made by FN (Belgium) in the British army as a protection weapon it was rugged and reliable and had plenty of poke in it and an all round good gun.
