The Four Chaplains story.......another of the great ones from WW II................
February 3rd is the 67th anniversary of the event forever known as the "Four Chaplains" story. If you never read about it, you can Google the title. It is an inspiring story of what took place when the troop ship they were riding on, was torpedoed by a German submarine.
"Laugh so hard, that even 'Sorrow' smiles at you. Live life so well, that even 'Death' loves to see you alive". (author unknown)
"....would someone please show this poor asshole the way out of town?"....Avram Belinsky, the "Frisco Kid". |
