February 3rd is the 67th anniversary of the event forever known as the "Four Chaplains" story. If you never read about it, you can Google the title. It is an inspiring story of what took place when the troop ship they were riding on, was torpedoed by a German submarine.
I call your attention to the story, not to sponsor or support religion per se, but to remind us all of just how great, the Greatest Generation actually was----one more example among thousands and thousands of stories of bravery and selflessness, that came out of our military during WW II.
Christians and Jews can learn a lot, just from this story

"Laugh so hard, that even 'Sorrow' smiles at you. Live life so well, that even 'Death' loves to see you alive". (author unknown) "....would someone please show this poor asshole the way out of town?"....Avram Belinsky, the "Frisco Kid".

about the sacrifices our service members make for us, be it in the past present or future.

America is not at war. The U.S. Military is at war. America is at the Mall. If you don't stand behind our troops, PLEASE feel free to stand in front of them!

a man has to hold his word, hold his beliefs, and hold a good sight picture.
