It is always something and in politics there does not have to be any wrongdoing, only the appearance of impropriety...

I would not believe anything that we hear on TV, nor disbelieve it until more facts are available.

I would be surprised if it were true. From everything I've heard about this guy, he seems a genuine decent person. And because of that, I'm sure he's made powerful enemies. I'll believe it when some facts come out.

I think whether or not he is a nice guy or any facts aside, he does his job and that is why we keep re-electing him... People opposing him of course will try to cast a shadow over him, but he is one of the only sheriffs doing much about illegal immigration.

Are you in his county? Maracopia or something like that? (Sorry for the bad spelling)
Sheriff Joe is a badass and we need more like him in all levels of govt.

If he really did this (intentionally), that is wrong, but like I said, I'd be surprised.

thanks asshole

you blew my cover...I'm about to be eligible for work release. We still get a vending machine full of little debbies. There are actually burritos in there too. If you have change and want to warm it up, just wrap it up in a moist paper towel and throw it in the dryer for a couple minutes. Just don't piss in a shitter or slam the phone... you'll get chin checked. If you have some hooch or smokes to trade, sometimes you can get out of it. Oh yeah, no throwing beats in public areas... ebear would have a hard time with that one. It's ironic that they always play cops and judge judy on the community TV

ISD, that actually sounds really good to me. As long as the meat stays a mystery and the greens have plenty of bacon fat. :)

Ya'll suck

just kidding, I loved AZ the times I have been there. Drove through Gold Canyon half blind in the middle of the night, then back through the next day. I'm surprised I'm still alive... I had to run some Microwave heads down to Tempe from the White Mountain River Apache reservation to be rebuilt and then back up to reinstall them.

It is really nice out there.

I worked up at Window Rock for a long contract with the Navajo also. I remember how it was in summer, but, I actually liked it. Down here when it hit 80+ the humidity starts to really climb. Can't stand it, sweating in the shade where it is 96 degrees thinking the whole time, I've got to work in this?

Although, we do have the beach here.

When I was up at the Apache res. John Goldtooh took me out the their pastures and walked all around. First time I ever looked at a Bull Elk in real life. We were walking along a trail beside a gully with a brook running at the bottom. Heard some movement and 50 feet in front of us this Elk steps out, stopped look at us and stared. Kind of shook it's withers and its head, dipped it heads and John leans up and whispers "don't move" I was thinking "no shit". It turned around and just walked up the trail away from us.

I grew up in Maine off and on, saw Moose and different types of Deer. But I really didn't think an Elk was that freaking big.

It could have made mush out of us.

humidity

yea, its dry.... but I hate when people use that excuse. "its only dry heat"... bullshit. 115-120 is F'n hot no matter how dry it is, you'll sweat your ass off. In the summer, you don't want to do anything outside if you don't have to. I do hate humidity though. I grew up in KS. I didn't realize it growing up, but now that I'm used to the dry climate here, every time I go back there in the summer, I can't stop sweating. I'm sure FL and others in the south are worse. I was in Houston last summer and it was pretty nasty.

We do get some pretty nice sized elk north of here. I spend a lot of time on the Mogollon rim and the white mountains area... lots of elk up there. I regularly come across herds of 15+.

I am pretty cautious driving on highways in that area at night. I came up on a Ram 2500 that looked like a VW bug after the elk was done with it. Had to help tow the carcass off the road.

I don't think he did it. If it was done, it was without his knowledge.

proud to be a redneck. And yeah, that stuff about the laundry, it's true for Texas too. If it's summer and the gulf maritime isn't blowing in a load of humid air, wet stuff dries real quick.

No way you could say the truck hit the Moose.... They even gave the guy the Moose which he had hung in the tree of his yard next to what was left of the truck.

First moose I ever saw was when I was a kid and we went to the game reserve in Bearing. I was sitting on my heals waiting to see if my Uncle and Father would flush any Deer through the trail and past me. I sat there for a little while hearing something in the brush and grass making it's way towards me. Then all of a sudden it sounded like a Horse or something was headed my way. Jumped up and that thing broke into the little clearing I was on the side of and all I did was stare at it. Dad and uncle Mike come through after this thing flew by me and asked what happened and all I did was point in the direction it ran.

Good thing I was shocked and didn't shoot it, no tag, they told me. Hell I wasn't about to shoot it, never crossed my mind. Never said a word to it but I kept saying in my head "go way" over and over.

LOL

Small one, 21 shooters, brother came in fourth and I hit fifth place. Cliff's back from filming Season 3 Top Shot. Can't say anything about it, but did tell me that it ends filming the 12th. So evidently he isn't $100,000.00 richer.

Oh and the weapons are pre zeroed, if it is a single contestant shooting it they can adjust the sights as they like. If it is a weapon that everyone is shooting they are not allowed to adjust anything supposedly. But I could have sworn that I've seen a number of them in the past messing with windage and elevation...

Isd, Vaq & Randy,

I know I am 3 days late, but why did you not tell me about the guy you know on top shot, I want that shot so bad, I know this old graybeard can hit and throw anything from a dart to a matchead with a 38speacial. I mailed that stuff by the way, and got randys off too. Hope it suits you both, thru in a ringer for your daughter and a old subway token from NY., And Vaq, they get me all the time, so don't feel bad. One more thing--- Who is this guy selling the videos of knives and guns and whatever saying he will not get in the way of a fight but if a gun is put to his head and family is threatened if he has a permit, he will use one of these knives and they won't rust if you oil them and the big one is 16" from end to end. I have one with a stainless blade that is 15" alone, and I won't embarass him anymore about a person attacking me or family with a gun, and what I will do. Everybody to his own opinion is okay with me, right fellas. Now where's the Girls for the weekend? JLC except Randy LOL Ha

Hey JLC

Cliff Walsh is a shooting buddy that made it on the show, it finished filming the 12th of this month two days ago. He can't talk about it before the show air's because of the contract they have you sign. But he did say that they were shooting things that have not been release yet so it should be interesting for sure.

I'll reserve comment on the video poster....

He has a site of his own with all these videos on it, guess he's looking to expand his net presence.
While seeking to expand his bandwidth too.
