I watched the Chris Wallace show hosted today by John Roberts. I have never watched it before 'cause Wallace pisses me off but today!!!!!!!
John Roberts had Congressman Debbie Schultz on to talk about Romney/Ryan. He handed the show to her. The ignorant slut had free run. She spewed her lies and he sat there pulling his pud.
She ran out all the dem speaking points that are based on zero, nothing but pure bullshit. He did not ask her to back it up, he did not challenge her with facts. He did not point out that dems are accusing Romney/Ryan of sins committed by dems.
Dammit I hate television! I never watch Sunday news or anything else for that matter. Going to be a long time b4 I turn on the TV on Sunday again.

Might as well get used to it because nothing will ever change it. Get used to Obama, too, he's now guaranteed a second term after Romney chose the entirely wrong running mate.

pick the best would have been near impossible. I had felt that he would choose Rubio so he could court the Latino voters. He could have tapped VA, OH or Dr. Rice. All would have been excellent VPs.
Proplem. Picking one for the votes they draw is pandering, giving a specific group a favor. Ryan does not fit into that but what he does fit into is a man with skills and abilities needed to find solutions and corrective actions to get our financial house in order.

I'm very curious why you believe Ryan is the wrong man for the job at hand. Who would you have chosen?

Marco Rubio

He's got a lot of the same qualities as Ryan and he'd have drawn the Latino vote and probably won Florida for Romney. Now Romney has a man who won't even bring his home state into the fold and has handed the Latino vote to Obama. We've got four more years of "hope and change" to look "forward" too now.

VP pick

Be sure Romney thouroghly vetted all candidates. Rubio might have helped in Florida with the Cuban-American vote, not necessarily with latinos in general. Christie and Rice both expressed desire to not be considered for VP. Better pick for latinos would be Gov. Martinez of NM, solid conservative, but I think the general population is not yet ready for a female as back up for the Prez. Now it all comes down to how well the Republicans can get their message out and dispell the lies coming from Obamas camp. The Republicans need to get medieval on Obamas ass. Dems have no plan for the economy, balanced budget etc. They complain that Ryans plan will decimate medicare, did the Dems forget that Obama pulled half a trillion from Medicare to partially fund his fantasy of "affordable healthcare"? I'll be sure to be voting this year. Didn't vote last presidential election because there was no box to check that said none of the above. Ever wish they had that, and if the majority checked that box they would have to field two new candidates ?

BadL, I like that!

Ford and Carter, who ya gonna call? I would have voted for the local dog catcher.

My own opinion is that Ryan is a good choice as a person who can deliver policy over the long run.
I've always enjoyed hearing him speak because there is substance to what he says.
On the other side of the coin is Joe Biden. :<)

Ford or Carter

In hindsight, I think that's an easy choice now. I know we all would rather have a President that would undo the hundred years of Constitutional rewrites, but I still rather have someone that at least doesn't continue to unravel the Republic than someone trying to make it a new USSR.

My vote is still not Obama.

Well, I'm sold

From Paul Ryan, Romney’s VP pick:

"We look at one another's success with pride, not resentment, because we know that as more Americans work hard, take risks, succeed, more people will prosper, more communities will benefit. And individual lives will be improved," Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said today at the Romney campaign event announcing him as the VP.

"America, America is just more than a place, though. America is an idea. It's the only country founded on an idea. Our rights come from nature and God, not from government. That's right. That's who we are, that's how we built this country. That's who we are. That's what made us great. That's what made us great. We promise equal opportunity, not equal outcomes," Ryan said.

Wow! This is what our politicians need to be saying (and believing) more often. That clinches it for me. Can we swap him out for Romney?

'Chicago Is an Example of What Makes This Country Great' - Obama

How the hell are people still behind this waste of ejaculate?

edit:
Here's another gem from Obummer:

"Do we go forward towards a new vision of an America in which prosperity is shared?" Obama asked. "Or do we go backward to the same policies that got us in the mess in the first place?"
