Freedom is just another word for "Nothing left to Loose"
I was listening to some Janice, just now, and that verse got me to thinking. What is Freedom and at what point does it become a word meaning "Nothing left to Loose"? When did people in the past put everything aside that divided them and say "Enough"? What was the trigger, triggers? Our system is not defunct, but, bastardized to the point that it could not be reshaped to resemble what it started out as with plasma cutters, grinders, hammers and welders. Yet we seem to let thoughts, notions and shadows keep us firmly divided upon strict party lines to the point of actually calling others whom we do not agree with "Un-American" or even worse. What will it take for everyone to get beyond all the smoke and mirrors. to see that there really isn't any difference, just different wrappers. I have a friend from Bulgaria who escaped before the wall came down. When talking one time he laughed and told me his idea of our Political Parties and it stunned me. Dimitrov " There is not any real difference in the goals of each party, they just have difference in how they go about doing what they want" I asked him what he ment and he says. "Democrates smile and give you reach around as they rape you" I almost pissed my pants laughing, but then thought about what he'd said and could not come up with any retort... He also said that the Illusion of Freedom slides away so slowly one does not notice it until too late, like when the KGB shows up in the middle of the night and everyone you knew acts as if you never existed... I'll keep wondering, watching and hoping.... No sir, he fell into that bullet...
Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!! |
