corbon FMJ

that is pretty close to steel case prices. I would much rather get a good deal on brass than steel

Steel vs. Brass

Yeah, me too. I don't reload...yet. But I save my brass. I started a few years back when I thought about all the stuff I threw away and how much it would be worth even as scrap metal. So, I started saving the stuff. I've got probably about 35lbs of brass now.
Steel is rough on the ejector too, isn't it?

steel

yes, it is rougher on extractors, especially in AR's. Even more so when it has a lacquer coating on it which can melt off. Not so much on eastern bloc rifles (they can eat anything). Also steel and brass expand and contract differently.

Again, I need some of the shit you're smoking. How can I answer you question if I'm not online? As for the pistol, It's hard to tell with no pics, year, make, model... anything. I would have someone check it out locally unless you can provide us with mofe info. Oh, no more vasoline. I'm going to start using rubber cement so I can get high and kill two birds with one stone.

wahaha, I got your goat this time and you know it. Allright just a little maybe. Let me think it at least oh master of wit. I have been laughing all night thinking what you and everybody else is about the post, and what I am smoking. Yes I will get the pics and computers straightened out soon, money is tight for people like me, an thankyou for the advice henceforth coming. I just needed to crack myself up that's all. John
