13 year old G-Kid and I shared 50 rounds of .380 this afternoon.
I am solidly a bullseye shooter, he's a typical kid wanting to see what happens when you shoot a ---- or a -----. Wouldn't it be cool to put up a ----- and shoot it? Can I go get my ---- and shoot it?
What happens if you pull the trigger a lot real fast?

Okay, I backed off my usual hard nosed target B.S. and allowed him to set up a coke can, a plastic energy drink bottle and a 1 gallon milk bottle, all full of water.
I kept banging away at the bullseye at 25 yds and he in the general direction of his targets from 15. He finally hit the milk bottle just grazing the bottom enought to cause a slow leak.

Getting down to the last 20 rounds between us and dwindling daylight I shot his coke can, the energy drink bottle and put my last 5 through the milk bottle. He feigned disappointment.
I told him if he really wanted to see what it's like to blow 'em out go for it. The kids grin reached from his right ear to the state line. His rapid fire was not what I expected, more like the rapid fire pace in a pistol match but it was a kick for him :<)) !!
He's good with rifle and shotgun but new to pistols, he's a good student and will master it for sure.
