German Sig Grips

I just bought a Sig p220 that appears to be a German model(1988, spur hammer, etc.) I couldn't pass it up, but the grips are well... kinda slippery. Does anybody know what aftermarket grips fit a German Sig? Most say they fit "American models."

One site even says "Will fit P220's with the new style black plastic mainspring seat." Well I don't see anything plastic on my gun except for the grips.

Please let me know if anybody's got experience with aftermarket grips on a German Sig.

Thanks!
