Why is Craftsman made in America? Why is Toyota made in Japan?

toyotas sometimes made in usa
glockhead
I bought two new Glocks last year from a dealer who claimed they were each one of one hundred. Their serial numbers both start with USA. One is a .40 and the other is a 9mm. They do not say "MADE IN AUSTRIA" on them as all of my other Glocks do.If they just ordinary Glocks I paid waaay too much for them. Their finish is ever so slightly different than my other Glocks but, other than the markings they are just like any other Glock. I have bought into the story completely and will never shoot them. Since every Glock comes with an empty case in an envelope I suppose no Glock is "unfired" but even so, I only take them out once in a while to look at them.

Hate to burst your bubble, but all firearms are test fired before leaving the factory. Some come with targets and some don't.

How about trying a Springfield XD? Has a better ergonomics and is U.S. made.
silvergryfon
Sorry, misquoted myself. Made in Croatia for Springfield. Still a fine gun.
