First thing that surpised me was the accuracy. Point and Click. Very happy with the gun at 15 meters. Also the ease of cleaning, loading. I like the grip, but some people do not. No malfunctions ever, even with lead, hollows, FMJ, all fed. I have many walthers in smaller cals. I bought the glock becuase I wanted a 45 ACP. I think it a pretty gun even though no one else does. Also, you can get all accesories somewhat inexpensive. Walther Mags cost $70+, the glock can be bought for $29.
Also, it is not that cumbersome for a full size pistol that you can not carry it concealed with a jacket on. I will carry it with gold dots when we go hiking.
Advice is to rent one. Every gun rental will have a glock 21. Try it first to make sure you like it.

Best $ 400.00 I have spent!!!
Thanks for the info. I bought a 21 today..... a Christmas present to my self but I am in love with this fu...ker with the 13 round mag. It is right on the target.
I also bought a Hi Point 9mm carbine, any thoughts on it ?
Thanks for the info.
The Hi Piont is a cheapo but I put a couple of hundred rounds thru it also today with no problembs and seems to be fairly accuret at 75 yards.
It is a fun toy
I have been hearing good reviews of high point. They had a bad name becuase of the price, but if it performs......

I think the g21 grip is too bulky. I prefer the g21SF by far. I recommend you hold both before you make your decision
