Glock Discounts

I just wanted to put this out. If you are MIL,LEO or retired for one of the two. If you go to a Glock dealer and tell them you are one of the three with ID. you can get a discount. I know the big gun shop in my town sells them for $420. I email to see if was all over the USA and they said yes.

Not just a discount

You also get an extra magazine. Problem with the "Blue Pricing", as they put it, is you can't just get any Glock in stock for that. I went in to buy a G34 under that pricing system in Arizona and was told it was a 2 month wait. I put my name on the list and waited. I went in one day to look around and they had a G34, so I asked the manager if I could just buy that one for the blue price and he said Glock had different serial numbers for those pistols and he wasn't allowed to substitute, even though I was willing to go with one less magazine. I couldn't wait and ended up buying that one for store price minus 5 percent military discount. Good thing, because that was the magical Glock that seems to hit everything.

glock 34 is the best

The sites and feel are perfect. I have a gen 4 so the grip s perfect for me. 25 yards 3" groups, which is good for me. My m9 is no where close to that.

I called several other Glock dealers in my area, and I only found one that offered the LEO discount. So check to make sure your dealer of choice offers the discount. I purchased a Glock 27 back in November using the LEO discount. I was able to get the discount with my EMT license. I believe anyone in emergency response public service organizations qualify for the discount, but I may be wrong. It's worth looking into -- especially if you're going to buy a Glock anyway. It knocked about $100 off the cost of the gun, but it took about a month for me to get my gun. Here's a list of people that appear to qualify for the discount:

*All sworn Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) State, County, and City *All Federal Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) FBI, US Marshals, DEA, etc. *All Corrections Officers, including Parole and Probation Officers *All Retired LEO with "retired" credentials including Federal, State, County, and City *State Licensed Security Companies (ie. Loomis Fargo, RAM, Securitas, etc.) *State/City licensed Security Officers *Active Military personnel-all branches *National Guard personnel-all branches *Military Reserve personnel-all branches *Legitimately retired military veterans with "retired" military ID *All TSA employees *Licensed Para-Medics and EMT's *Fire Fighters (including volunteers) with appropriate ID *Commercial Pilot license holders & Federal Flight Deck Officers *Court Judges *District Attorneys and Deputy District Attorneys

Good luck!

Glock 19

It's a Glock 19, Gen 3, like the one I carry on the job. Excellent weapon that I fell in love with on the range back in November.
