Well guys as you know I have repeatedly said I hated Glocks bue to there plastic look but now I am sold on glocks...to a certain degree. I may get a G17 soon and I think I will bump it to #2 on my list a small fram CC as#1 in 9mm noy a Glock Compact though. Anyways maybe Glock aint so bad....for fun in the sun shooting ay? Why the change? Glocks certainly did not suddenly get pretty.

Not so sure it has the 1911 safety and glocks are know for their trigger safety only.Would try one not sure on buy one?Pus are the grip's going to be the same as a Glock or 1911 ? My gen 1 glock has wide grip's not a fan of that............TY

Have you ever met a gun you didn't like? LOL!
Snake
If it shoots then everyone should have one whether it be Glock or Hi-Point. Any gun out there is gonna be fun to shoot but if its a less desireable gun then keep it for range time or fun in the sun shooting. A G17 in my case is just for fun shootin. And if I am correct its a 9mm too!

I have said it before and will say it again, If you can only afford a whatever and it shoots fine for what you have it for, not for a cop or military to defend themselves in everyday situaions, but for home defence and confidant about the weapon, or to have fun at the range or gravel pit. To each his own, nothing wrong with that. I still have an uncle that has and wears a 1886 rig on his forearm with a 32 cal derringer, and a perfect match in a velvet box is another one. But he puts that on everytime he goes out the door to work. He is a Judge. Cannot give anymore info, but he has never had to use it, but feels naked without it. A guy I grew up with is a state supeme court justice. He wears a 44 colt revolver under his robe every day. You just never know, and will probabl never find out. But if it works for you good enough. One more- Wife and I were eating at Golden Corrall, and ankle holster was slipping down and a guy saw it, and came up and showed me his ccr card and then pulled out his keychain, and it had the smallest .22 derringer over and under I ever saw in my life. 2 fingers to the head he said, that's all I need. He was from Texas and wife came over and talked and had a good time. But while traveling, he said most cops think it is a toy or charm and never ask anything if stopped. Funny huh ? JC

If it shoots its worth having whther for fun or Defense. For example I consider myself a starter collector so my goal is before I croak is to collect as many guns as I can...leagaly. Glock,Hi-Point,Colt,Springfield,Bersa,Tarus ect. Any gun is worth collectin yes?

Yes- my sentiment exactly, and I know I heard like ISD say like me he keeps one hidden in every room just in case, and people say paranoid? but ISD was as close to death with his liver as any soldier, so he takes life for what it is worth and lives it to it's fullest, like we all should everyday. Not pretty but they are reliable, I have carried Glocks for years, never had FTF. I have heard of Glock Ka-Booms but it seems to affect the .45/.40 s&w models.
Currently carry a G17 ,9mm, Issue weapon for my unit, and have trailed it all over Iraq, Afganistan,Sierria Leone, Kosovo,Bosnia,Colombia and a few other places and although it shows abit of wear it still shoots straight and functions, great weapon. Still sometimes miss the old Browning HP that it replaced though.
