i ordered a new 15 rd magazine online for my glock 19, but what the hell i can only cram up to 13 in it, is it a defect that needs to be returned or a tight spring or what? i have 2 other mags that can easily be loaded to the max.

I wounldn't think it would be defective. It sounds like you need to break the spring in a bit. It should loosen up over time. keep loading and unloading it. use it every time you go to the range, keep it loaded. most new mags are pretty stiff, and the last round is almost always hard to squeeze in... but two rounds? I assume it shows holes for 15 rds. on the back of the mag, right?

Glock Mag

Raffy, how's it going bud. You've just got really tight mag springs. It has happened to me too. Put as many rounds as you can in it and leave them in there for a few days, then unload and repeat. It should eventually loosen up a bit. Take it easy Raffy

Glock mags

test your thumb strength like no other. My generation is proof that we are evolving, as video games have obviously caused us to have naturally stronger thumbs. I am pretty sure I could force 30 rounds into a 17 round Glock magazine, as my thumbs are stronger than rosie O'Donnell's armpit stench.
