Glock Shortage?
I managed to find and purchase a Glock 19 today, but it wasn't easy. There were NONE in my county at all. I started calling around in the Seattle/Tacoma area and most everyone I talked to said not only did they not have a G-19, but that they were having trouble getting them. Web sites report similar 'out of stock' or 'allocated.' One fellow told me 'import quotas' were affecting availability. Finally I found one at Welcher's Gun Shop in Tacoma, a very nice store that is unfortunately a couple of hours away. A lot of shops around here still have them. They are almost all out of AR's/AK's/M1's/FAL's etc... Back to glock, I think they are back ordered a few months if you try to order directly through them.
