Any you guys ever broke your spring on a glock slide release. Because, I just did last night. I've already ordered one from midway. Very cheap. Just wondering if it's happened to anybody else.

Yes, mine broke after about 400 rds.........Glock can't be perfect 100% of the time, somethings gotta give! Easily fixed and now I always keep two of the following in my Bugout/Range bag......Slide release springs, 3.5# connectors, Ny1 Springs!

SHak, about the NY spring, that's a heavier spring and I see you are using it with the lighter 3.5 connector and you are not the first person I've heard of doing this, so my question is, what's the advantage of that, what kind of trigger pull are you getting with that.?

when you mate the two together it give you a nice clean break, with less take up at the begining of the trigger pull. I also notice the reset more, so it makes for a better follow up shot! The NY1 sping is a stronger part, and I've read stories of them breaking but still allowing the gun to fire. I get a 6# pull with the setup, which is only about 1/2# more than stock. It only cost me about 20$ in parts, and simple to change out........So give it a try!

I've used them in Smiths and Colt revolvers.. and know that the Dept. (least the armory at Florence, and Perryville prisons) used wolf as replacements in our Glocks..

Not sure, but arent wolf like the most popular out there in terms of replacement..

Used them in my P64

I used the wolf springs to modify my P64 handgun (trigger) and they worked very well.

Wolff springs

They're the best. They make original equipment springs for many companies (although they won't say which ones). Any time I've ever replaced springs, or put in a spring kit, I've ordered Wolff springs from Midway USA. Very reasonable. I've never had one break.

Probably because my Glocks are all belt-fed and I've never gone to slide lock.
