you will find out next time you clean your gun. It shoots DIRTY, and comes in a bi-metal steel casing. All cheap russian ammo shoots dirty, but wolf is the worst. dont get me wrong, its cheap, and if you're just using it for plinking thats fine. just clean your firearm afterwards. I wouldn't rely on it for defense either.

If you are gonna shoot cheap russian ammo, go with brown bear, silver bear, or golden bear. It is manufactured by JSC Barnaul Machine-Tool Plant in Russia. Barnaul is considered to be the premier ammunition factory in Russia, and it supplies most of the ammo to the Russian Military. Silver bear has a nickel plated steel case, which gives you all the characteristics of nickel plated brass, at a fraction of the cost. Since this ammo is nickel plated, it functions much smoother than any other steel cased ammo, and it is much CLEANER than any other Russian brand, such as Wolf. I have shot both brands, and I prefer the Barnaul ammo over the wolf ammo, hands down.

Every once in a while, I will shoot wolf out of my ak or sks if it is the only cheap ammo I can find (these rifles will shoot anything) but I'll never run it through my expensive rifles.

Ive shot wolf quite a bit and not had any problems. I agree with Reaper308 tho... it is dirty. I find i can actually get silver bear ammo cheap than wolf ammo most of the time tho and it seems to shoot just as well
