Sir, and I know you don't like being called sir, but I'm an Israeli born, Texas boi and I was taught manners and I would feel strange not addressing you in such a formal way in a formal letter. You are the best friend any kid or teen or grownup anyone could ever want. We all make mistakes and the Master of the Universe knows I've made plenty more than my fair share of them. Through good times and bad times we, that is to say the sons of Ironkoji and our whole family will stand by you and love you and respect and honor you as you richly deserve. No matter what is said, or not said, and no matter what happens or does not happen you are in our family's prayers, and hey, we cover a lot of ground in that respect in our family. By choice I am a Jew. By choice my aniki chan Ryo kun is Zen Buddhist and by birth, and personal belief our dad is a High Church Episcopalian Christian. So I want you to know that you and your family are always in our family's differing, but compatible prayers. The Master of the Universe loves you and your family dearly. Our family, Ryo and I especially along with our friend Gary love you dearly. You have many friends here at the forum who know your strengths and your humanity and your endless kindnesses and patience and loving nature. You are the best and truest friend. In fact Sir, you are a great man. Times are tough all over, so please don't feel alone. Our family is always with you in honor and spirit. You also have many other good and true friends including ones that you don't even know I'll bet. Your friend in faith and honor, Ryu aka Send it Boi, son of Ironkoji, and the younger brother of LittleDragon Send it! PS Bolt action rifles are great, and I love them too, but they are not for everyone. Some people just need a little extra help here and there, often in ways we don't expect or even understand, but that doesn't mean they still don't need just that little bit of extra help, caring and concern. Never point a weapon at anyone you don't intend to kill.

i've got extra studies this semester. I'm a junior now you know. I'm working hard to keep my grades up and playing on the varsity baseball team and doing my Judo and Modo practices to keep in shape. as you know my dearest dream is to get an appointment to West Point and become a helicopter combat pilot like my father before me. i'm working hard to that end and trying my best to keep out of trouble. i don't want to get another black eye this year at school, because i sure don't need anymore black marks for my citizenship. that's sure to be something West Point will look at when they examine me and my school records. i miss coming here. now that we're all moved into the house, and things have settled down from all of that, i'll have more time, because we have our home network up and running off the big server computer so aniki chan and i have our laptops back and they're up and running just fine.
you got any words of wisdom and or humor to cheer up a young guy who could use a dose of cheering up this morning?
As always, your friend in faith and honor,

My daughter went OCS and flew MediVac choppers, she loved it. Met her husband in Korea, he was a West point Grad and also a chopper pilot. He moved up to fixed wing when they came back to the states. He is now a Captain flying for American Airlines. They both left the military, Teri, our daughter went back to school and got her masters. She is a speech pathologist working and teaching in the Florida School System.
You will far exceed everyones expectations, but there is only one person that you have to make happy and that is your self.

now that we've done the wisdome bit, how about some saturday morning humor too?
it was a pretty rough night with ryo last night and gary and i didn't get a wink of sleep. i just hope dad doesn't see this. he'd been asleep for hours when it hit aniki chan. i gave him a big enough shot to not only stop the seizure, but also to just go ahead and knock him out. gary sure got the worst end of it. he had to wrap both arms and both legs around ryo chan to keep him from hurting himself or breaking the furniture, but the shakes stopped just about two minutes after i gave him the shot and 5 minutes after that he went out like a light. he's still sleeping it off. we were going to go to the range today early, but since the cable recorder main box o'd and died yesterday we have to have workmen come out today to replace it. and of course they never give you an exact time. what we got was, sometime between noon and 4 pm. so we're going to wait and see how late they are and if they're early enough, we'll take ryo out to the range to shoot his new rifle for the first time today. i already called his boss and told him not to count on ryo working today. the the senior range manager is very close to ryo and he understood immediately what happened said it was no problem and if ryo felt like coming in to shoot the new rifle, to bring him on and not worry about him getting asked to work. it'll piss aniki chan off big time though if we can't go today cause it's such a beautiful cool breezy october day here in north central texas. how's it going with your family and your shooting and do you have anything on your wish list you plan on getting soon. i'd be interested to know. aniki chan had a dream come true this past wednesday when that new rifle he's wanted for like forever came in. so i'd love to hear about the good fortunes of other folks too you know.
Yours in faith and honor,
Ryu

Grease is a good man. He has a good heart aswell. Everyone who has spoke with him personally knows he has a good sense of humor and shows it. He also has love and compassion for all the people he knows. He also is good family man from what Ive seen and read on forum here. I am of the Baptist Faith and I have seen alot of things in my life and grease has also taught me alot in the pursuit of life. I humbly bow to grease. Also to prove grease is a good man he sent me a J.C. Higgins .410 free of charge to me. I absolutely cherish this gun and hope when I die that I can be buried with it. Grease is a good man. Better than I will ever be. I will never be as good as grease. I just hope at leat I can be in the shadow of such a good man and have some of that goodness shine upon me.
Your friend as long as I am alive and when I die too
