Snake, if you look around the 'net, you can find some companies. Try Diamondback Tactical or tacsurv.com. They may only sell to LE or government agencies, but with a little persistence, you too can be overloading people's senses in no time.

You may be able to get them at a fireworks stand. I used to shoot off fireworks commercially, We'd have 4", 5", and 6" mortars, usually. The salutes were just 'Bangers' that let off a loud bang. We shot out over water or from a barge. The kicker boats would sometimes get a little too close, so we'd just aim a salute over their heads and watch them kick into reverse. Pretty funny. We were 'testing the wind.' I wouldn't reccomend setting off a mortar-sized one on the ground, which could cause serious ear drum damage, but a lighter one would do the trick.

Grenades are just about imposible to get and wihtout the goverments consent, are quite illegal.Flashbangs are easir to get but still need permits and need is regulated.Salutes and firecracker are regulated and most states illegal to posses, unless you want to join the local SWAT team.

We got them in Oregon for use in Washington in shows at Fort Lewis, NUWES (Naval Undersea Warfare Engineering Station), Poulsbo, and Pt. Gamble. We usually shot from a barge and the salutes were great for crowd control. Those kicker boats get a little too close and we'd shoot off a salute to 'test the wind' and the Boats' reverse gears.
