I decided to pick up a 9mm but can't afford the SAR XD or Glk 19 right now so I have been checking lately and 3 dealers have tried to talk me out of the hi-point C9
I have read what the hipoint owners have to say and MOST of them are VERY pleased. Many in this forum have said it is a great deal as well.
Are there any other guns to be had in that price range that are worth looking at?
We here at Guns Lot tend to have a good sense of humor about things and are not too concerned with what libs might think, but you have already said two things that can be construed as intent to break the law. I'm sure you don't mean anything bad by it, but be careful when discussing "losing" guns or "used gun" dealer with the nudge thing. These are the kinds of questions best left unanswered.

The Taurus 24/7 line and the Millinium line are great guns. I Had a 24/7 Pro in 9mm, and it shot great! To many bills and a lack of work forced the sell! I paid 325 for mine, great gun for the money!

If 1 is a semi auto then it is better. The 870 is newer isn't it?

but when i comp[ared them side by side....my opinion is the remington looked better built than the mossberg.
