Gun permit

I hope i posted this in the right place. I downloaded the form on line for a gun permit and read over it. The question I have do I take this form to the courthouse and have it Notarized? I recently purchased a weapon about to weeks ago did the back ground check and all. With the way things are going I want to protect my family both at home and on the road Thanks.

What kind of Permit is it? A concealed carry permit? It also depends what state you're in.

States differ

Didn't they offer any instructions? This forum is for the entire country. If you say where you are from maybe someone here is from the same state and can help you through the process.

In AZ we had to send the paperwork into DPS (Dept. of Public Service). I'm sure you would have to do something similar in MS. I would ask someone that works at a local gun shop. They maybe more helpful than us.... unless we happen to have a member from Mississippi.
