GUN TAX BY IRS

Senate Bill SB-2099 gun control via IRS?
Yes! That's what they are doing...

GUN Control via IRS Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009
1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It may require fingerprints
and a tax of $50 per gun. This bill was introduced on Feb. 24. This bill will
become public knowledge 30 days after it is voted into law.

This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that
the Finance Committee can pass this without the Senate voting on it at all.
The full text of the proposed amendment is on the U.S. Senate homepage,
http://www.senate.gov/ You can find the bill by doing a search by the bill
number, SB-2099. You know who to call; I strongly suggest you do.

Please send a copy of this e-mail to every gun owner you know to help STOP this bill!!

I'll be god damned and waiting for the IRS agents. I tried to find this in the senate site but couldn't. If you can find it, post a complete link.

How could this be enforced??

Besides--the licensing or taxation of a constitutional right is in itself unconstitutional.

Look out shooter some of these guys will test the waters to see what we'll do if they introduce sometjing like this. My mother who's 87 said they'll have to shoot her to get her gun and I know where she carres it -- they better look out not pretty.

which was created back in 2000, when Sen Jack Reed introduced s-2099, a proposed gun control law, which has never since been considered. The NRA issued a clarification on May 29, 2009

Lyle, I don't know if you're a lib or just a dumbass, but many in the public already view gun owners as paranoid kooks. Since this is an open forum where people of all walks of life and views can come in and look around, we don't need this kind of unfounded conspiracy theory crap to confirm their suspicions. Despite what Feinstein, Obam, and Pelosi may have said in the past about gun control being an issue they're not ready to face again, there are still plenty of threats to our liberties without people making them up. If this was posted out of ignorance, try to research better next time, if you posted this with some sort of malicious intent, kill yourself.
