Hello every on I was at the range today thinking if I where to have a gun of each caliber I can think off what will they be. So here is my list (sorely base on my humble opinion)

1-1911 .45 ACP (any maker) Yes this was the side arm of US armed forces for good part of the 20th century and it refuses to die. Just about every gun maker out there has one and many voices in the armed and police forces want it back wow! what a handgun.

2- Glock 17 9mm - it revolutionize the pistol industry and has become a legend in its own time. It spread among police forces like a wild fire. IPSC,turned for a time in the Glock Club and still going strong.

3- AR-15 5.56mm NATO another weapon you should not be without. The weapon of the armed forces of the USA to this day (M16, M16A1/A2, M4)with several variants is still the best weapon to get the job done accurate to a fault with good ballistics.

4- AK 47 7.62 mm The most prolific weapon in the world just about every one in any hellhole country has one. It's rugged, reliable and cheap. not accurate? no problem just grab another magazine and rock n' roll

5- Mossberg 500 12ga, Not only a classic but also an expert negotiator.
"Get the hell out" "click clack" and people pay attention and o normaly what you ask.

What do you think guys? Hit, miss, what would you add?

Why do I carry? Because my karate sucks!

Sniping your enemy is like hunting any other animal.

I agree with you for the most part.

1. Pistol, I prefer the 1911 style pistol in 45 caliber
2. "assault" rifle, I prefer the M16 family because of availability
3. Hunting/sniping rifle For food if the need arises
4. Shotgun, I prefer Benelli M4 12 gauge
5. 7.62x39 gun, I prefer the SKS. I include this, because as you said, there are many countries that have 7.62x39 ammo and/or rifle parts. I just think the SKS is a superior weapopn than that of the AK family.

I agree with the 5:
started with a Remington 870 and graduated to an 1100
Used to have a Marlin 30-30, and a Rossi lever action. I'm not a hunter per say, but I like the M4 as my next game getter.
At least one handgun for backup personal defense, when the 1100 won't do. Mine are the S&W model 59, and my Sig P229
last but not least the Ruger 10/22 for cheap practice.

Always bring enough gun, more than enough is also acceptable!

Does that count?

Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, assassination. This is the war of the future. Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it. Quotes from Adolf Hilter
