So you are taking that piece of modern engineering you call a firearm apart.A handy parts tray can be made from an egg carton to keep all those springs and pins and such seperate.Throw in a few pieces of magnet and you are set.I buy a sheet of magnet from Walmart.i cut it into small pices and strips, place it in the bottoms of the egg cartons and i have as of yet to misplace a part! "There is a time for all things, a time to preach and a time to pray, but those times have passed away. There is a time to fight, and that time has now come." --Peter Muhlenberg, from a Lutheran sermon read at Woodstock, Virginia, 1776

I have a rubber mat with ridges on it I "acquired" from the army to prevent parts from rolling off the table. Now if I could only be smart enough to remember some op rods don't have captive springs. PIIIING and there goes the rod, flying across the room. Fun stuff.

Ill try that.

Never quit learning little tricks to make your working on fire arms easier.
Anyone that says they have worked on guns and claims to never shot a spring, pin, or rod across the room just aint tried hard enough, LOL.
