Since we only had iron sights when I was in the Corp. My question is for the M4 rifles that have a laser sight mounted to the front forearm at what range is it sighted in at? I'm guessing 50 yds. and then you use your ACOG sights.

that are mounted on the left or right of the barrel on the forearm and interested to know how they are sighted in.

"Laser"

Yea lasers aren't issue out for the most part, i mean some infantry cats might get them. As far as zeroing you end up using a 2nd laser that gets placed in the barrel of your weapon. Then turning both lasers on you zero the laser you have attached to your weapon onto the laser that is showing where the round should be hitting. As far as sights go though I have a CCO instead of an ACOG.. use to have an ACOG, but then I was switched batteries and was given a different weapon *shrug*
