Hamp's new concealed carry piece....LOL!
Taurus 'Raging Bull' in .454 casull, 61/2" barrel. I kinda wanted one in .44 mag with the 8" barrel but nobody in town had one, I was gonna order one in when I came across this beauty and the price was right. I put a box of ammo through it while I was at the gun store/range (not often that I shoot indoors).....Let's just say that it's a handful....LOL! dies for this caliber as it $32 a box (20 rds) I thought the chop sticks gave the picture an oriental flavour....Ha ha ha ha!

the gun shop said you can also shoot .45 long colt but in the box there is a big warning about using only .454 casull, this will require some research..........

The 454 Casull is good for any North American game,2 or 4 legged

What twist rate does the raging bull have? I'm checking data now. The .45 LC seems predominantly 1:16" the Casull is 1:24". Non issue considering difference in pressure but may not stabilize heavy bullets loaded to .45 LC velocity.

the only 'computer lookin' I do at night is chatting with my friends at GS, I will consult Google at work tomorrow. It's a blast to shoot (literally), brings a smile to your face and a dent to the forehead if you ain't paying attention.......LOL!

I see. I'm checking dimensions, lengths, pressures, etc.....
in a reloading manual. I can't see an issue. Twist rate seems to be the "IF".
As stated, it might not stabilize and suck for accuracy.

I do, cheap is better than accurate...lol When I sight it I will for sure use .454 casull, it seems to be high and right at the moment. Thanks a million for your help "load master"..........Ha ha ha!

actually a vertical shoulder holster or hunter would work just fine with that. Works with a 10 inch Wildey .45 Magnum it will work with that.

Hornaday, deadly and dependable it is, affordable it's not! I was surprised that the .454 casull uses small rifle primers, with my AR loading, I have plenty of them.....It's working into my budget, albeit slowly!....lol
