Have you wondered just why some auto's miss feed and jam while revolvers almost never? It sucks to face the action end of a barrel and be out of bullets. |

Autoloaders don't have cylinder gap problems, you don't have to worry about primers blowing back, locking the gun up, and you don't have near the problems with small springs, leaf springs, etc breaking. Modern autoloaders will take much more abuse than modern revolvers. Try to find a revolver with 176,000 rounds through it that hasn't had most of its parts replaced a couple times.

Hold tight, no limp wristin'. Then the slide can retract all the way allowing the spent casing to be fully extracted and return with enough force to properly pick-up and seat the next round. Or, clean the darn thing once in awhile. Thats what works for me.
