Easter

I hope everyone had a great Easter. All of the wife's family came over and we had a wonderful day.

I was invited to an Easter picnic in the park but it was raining so I stayed home, did laundry and fiddled around.
Found out this morning they did have the very wet picnic in the rain ugh!

We also do the 24/72 shift, I love it and love the job. I became friends with many of the New Haven 20, and still communicate with them. I still have relatives in the Colchester area, have not been back for awhile. We are about 200, we run 10 apparatus out of 6 houses, plus a large fire boat that I am also in charge of.

Ham

I made a ham, smoked a turkey breast, my famous potato salad and green bean casserole. My beautiful wife does not cook. Everyone who came also brought something. It would have been a awesome day, if not for the wind.

served with Salmon.
I don't have a recipe for GB casserole, I'd like to try, see if I like. Potato Salad and smoked turkey breast, and I just had a lousy sandwich for supper ? ;(

I did get the cheap-ass Tasco 'scope on my 10/22 and sighted it in last week, it's not as accurate as my Monkey Wards .22 single shot.

Shooting

Awesome day, it was sunny and 70 today, rain for the rest of the week. Shot 200 rounds through the new AR and 100 through my 45.

except .22LR.
I asked my G Daughter to see if Cabela's has it, she live close to it, but I've not heard back from her in a week.
Maybe it's time to take the 45 mile round trip, risk coming home MT handed.
