has anyone tried out rugers 1911 yet?
Been a little while now since Ruger released their SR1911, and was wondering if anyone her has had the chance to try it out and give some .02's about it as far as reliability and if it was a 1911 you would trust your life with. I'm not home officer, take me drunk! |

ask ids,he tries lots of guns.i think i remember a thread a while back where he mentioned he would buy one,but don't remember for sure if he said he has personal experience with them.personaly,id buy one even without experience (in my case) ruger makes great guns, has a great warranty, and every ruger I own 2 10-22s fired a few sa and da revolvers and 2 different polymer .45acps all worked well for me.one of my buddys .45 "jams" with certain hollow points sometimes he says, but he bought it used from an indoor shooting range, and he's never had ruger or anyone else besides me look at it.

I've yet to try Ruger's 1911, though the P-85 I used to own was an awesome gun. I'm a Colt, Springfield Armory guy, but I'll look into the Ruger 1911.
