I am so sorry but it's taking a very very long time for pages to load. I have rebooted twice trying to get a faster pathway to the server here, but it's just not working. Please be patient and I will answer all your posts.

You have been such a good friend to my brother. I know that Ryo is a little difficult to understand sometimes and that he is often emotional. He can't help that. He was born this way and he'll be this way for the rest of his life. But you supported him from the very beginning and even through some rough times when, beyond his will and without him wanting or looking for it, he found himself at the center of a controversy not of his making. And still you stuck by my dear little aniki chan. That sorta kinda means, beloved elder brother.
Thank you for your welcome. I hope to continue to contribute to the site as I have done even before I joined. It just took a while before my dad was sure that I could handle the rough and tumble language and the nudie girls with guns pics and all that stuff. But don't worry. I'm not really interested. Like my brother I come here to learn and to share experiences and to make friends.

I often sit with Ryo chan when he's visiting here. Thank you for your welcome. You're just a really kewl guy and I can't thank you enough for your friendship to my brother. He really looks up to you. You and ebear and Reaper and samD and Victor and some others I forget right now have just been so kind to him. It's not easy being Ryo chan. It's a very tough life for him with all the medicine he has to take and the ragging and bullying at school just because he's a little different. Thanks for your friendship to him. And thanks for the advice. I've watched things here enough to understand enough to look after myself. Oh yeah, Catfish and greasypaws and Charley of course, can't forget Charley. He's so patient and kind to my brother. I can't wait to meet him and thank him personally.

You got it backwards. I'm the little brother. LittleDragon who is my older brother Ryo is a year older than I am. And I hear you. I got into a fight a couple of weeks ago with a bully that I'd just had a belly full of. Ryo chan and I are both blackbelts in both the mado and judo that we learned from our dad. Ryo will not fight because he's afraid he will hurt somebody. I know about Dr. Hawking. In fact I've read some of his stuff. I've also seen him on things like the Science Channel and others. Ryo is not confined to a wheel chair. In fact he's a co captain of our school's swimming and diving team. He's a very good diver and he swims anchor for the 4 x 400 meter relay too. I bet you didn't know that either. He almost never brags about himself. He's just too sweet for that sort of thing. But he's so proud that he can shoot now, that's changed a little bit. He's just in love with military science and the technology too. But since last week when he got to shoot for the first time, he's changed a little bit and it shows. Btw, I like the change too. He feels better about hismelf and has more confidence.

Thank you for your welcome. I'm still in the competition. Rounds 2 and 3 are next Sunday and the final round will be the following Sunday. Wish me luck! The guy in front of me is a wuss and I'll catch him.

...but it was really cool. I only got to stay for a couple hours, but all the major manufacturers were there showing off there cool new toys. I needed a towel to wipe my shorts off by the time I left.

Hello from Oklahoma, good to see you on gunslot. I have lived here since 1994. live in Claremore, about 15 miles from Tulsa. I lived in Colorado about all my life, and could go out with a gun within 10 minutes from my home and hunt ducks, geese, rabbits, cyotes, deer. But not in Ok. Too many houses around. What types of guns do you have? I have several kinds and types, but not like the other guys. They have guns I dream of having. They need to clean their guns right now, cause of the excessive drull that I get on the screen. Again WELCOM! Tell your big Bro. to Kick their butt easy, and tell them "Their's alot more where that come from"

Welcome to the site. We'll see if you're as knowledgeable of the technical specs of modern day weapons as LD. That's a tall order from what I've seen.

Thank you for your welcome. I'm a pretty good shot and I'm not trying to brag, but my understanding of the science and technology of military science and technology is nowhere near that of my aniki (elder brother). It was always his way of compensating. For so long he couldn't shoot because of the CP that made his hands and fingers tremble constantly. So he compensated by learning and by getting actively involved in whatever ways he could. I swear he's the best spotter anyone could ever want, and I've won many competitions with him because I know I can depend on the dope he gives me. Also he's got better than 20/20 vision and that's a big help too.
People often asked him if he was nervous. He's not nervous. He just shakes all the time. You don't want to see him when he gets nervous. That's not pretty to watch. Uhm, well the past is forgiven and forgotten ok? I think it's just fantastic that you and my brother finally found common ground and common interest and from there went on to become friends. That's a good thing. He loves making friends. For that matter so do I and it's my hope you and I will become good friends too.
Btw, he not only knows about modern weapons. He's an expert and I mean this, on the history of World War 2 and Viet Nam. He became a big student of the Shoa from the times we lived in Israel. Hey, in case you didn't know, I was born in Israel, in Tel Aviv. By Israeli law I'm an Israeli citizen and a Jew. How about that? But of course I'm really an American and very very proud to be too. And with my Nihongi heritage, to me that makes it all the better. Our dad traveled a lot and rather than leave the family behind, he took us with him. Ryo chan and I once spent 3 months in a remote mountain village in Mindanao in the Philippines with just our teacher and a police officer to look after us while our dad lead his forces up into the mountains to hunt the Abu Sayaf. We did something similar to this in Luzon once too. Luzon wasn't quite as bad as Mindanao though.
I know you are married. I have seen a picture of your son. He's a lucky boy because he has a good father who loves him and cares for him and will see to it he grows up well and healthy and happy. You're a very lucky man to have a good wife and a fine son.
