I believe that as free men, we were born with unassailable rights.
The right to Life, Liberty, the pursuit of Happiness and the right to keep and bear arms wherever and whenever we choose.
In that spirit I have come here seeking help, knowledge and guidance.
Thank You.
If you need sniper info i will be able to help. This a good place for that kind of guidance. Again welcome.:)

As of this moment have just pulled my three dogs in the house and away from the fangs of a fairly good sized western rattler. (4'?) What I need right now is a weapon to go out and dispatch that snake with. We lost one of our pups to a rattler about two months ago, and I should have had the sense then to properly equip myself with a suitable weapon should we again be visited by a rattlesnake. But why fix the hole in the roof when it ain't rainin'? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Something that would kill at maybe ten feet or so would be what I'm looking for. I have a M1911A1 pistol, but I'm not aware that I could get a round that is filled with bird shot. In the house in Tejas de Sud. Semper Fidelis, Sully
45LC also has snake shot ammo from cci along with the .357 mag too.
If you don't have a hand gun and live out in the country out of the city where you can discharge a firearm diffently use a gauge with small bird shot with a full choke. #6 thru 7 1/2 shot should be good at very close range on any good sized snake.
you can get birdshot for ur 45 it is made by cci but if it was me i would walk into walmart with a 100 bucks and buy a new england firearms 410 shotgun and also dont forget the shells
"It's a hell of a thing...killing a man.You take away all he's got,and all he's ever gonna have."
If your looking for somethin simple and fairly cheap that can take care of whatever you can kill around your home its the 410 shotgun and its a good for the kids to it was my first shotgun just a regular old new england shotgut breakover will do the job or simply moth balls but hey get the gun!

Mr. Snake, thank you for your forum.
I did not intend to be flippant.
What good is a sniper without a target.
