Hello from Utah
Hello everybody. I'm in UT now, but was born & raised in TX, & have lived & worked all over the country - CA, OH, MO, IL, PA , then retired to UT. I love guns (revolvers more than anything else), hold the 2nd Amendment sacred, belong to NRA, JPFO, SAF, CCRKBA, and have a CCP. Retirement sucks - I loved working & being productive, but I'm 70 now, so what the hell. I constantly write or email elected officials, & sometimes it seems to do some good. I encourage everyone to get involved, & get your voices heard. Don't just preach to the choir; we already believe & don't need to hear it again. Get the word out to the general public. Be respectful, and make well reasoned arguments, so that you're not branded as a wild-eyed nut, and you'll find that people listen. You CAN make a difference! If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).

S&W Chief's Special Hammerless

Nope. I was a research chemist for 41 years. I spent 3 years in the Army (ASA). Really enjoyable job. I've always wondered how my life would have gone if I'd stayed in. But - you can't go back. We don't get do-overs. And yes, I'm a wheel gun man, mostly. I really like 1911's, but I enjoy revolvers much more than semiautos.

You seem like you will fit right in with our band of crazies...LOL
You are absolutely spot on, if our public officials don't hear from us, they won't have to be beholding to us. Say it loud and often enough.
