Hello to all, I'm new to owning guns but a love them, I was given a japanese rifle but I don't have a bolt for it and I'm having a hard time identifying it. Please help i want to fire it.
Hope you can enjoy...
I don't personally know, but someone on here will know about your rifle. Try to locate and copy or good clear closeup pics of any markings or numbers. Lot's of places to get parts, but you have to be model specific. Good luck,

your rifle looks like an Arisaka in 6.5mm.a bolt shouldnt be too difficult to find at a gun show here in washington.puyallup fair grounds has one this weekeend.make sure to have the headspace checked after you get a new bolt, otherwise the gun could blow up.get a bolt and take the rifle to a gunsmith for inspection!

There are several versions of the Arisaka, the 38, the 99 I think I saw stuff for this rifle on www.gunbroker.com. I am very lucky because my father in law has a type 38 he plans to give me. It is in very good condition. I will try to post pics of it.
Always bring enough gun, more than enough is also acceptable!
