Help needed!

Okay, so here's the situation: A fellow officer gave me a gun the other day, it's a Rossi Overland double barrel 12 gauge with the rabbit ear hammers.Only two little problems with said gun: 1) there are two screws missing from the trigger guard and 2) the stock is fubar! So, what I really need is a new stock, or even a used stock off of a damaged gun. Anyone here who can help?

Thanks, Guys!

Numrich has the screws and buttplate, but not the stock, going to try Ahlmans next.

Well

After waiting a week for a reply, I find out Ahlmans doesn't have it, either. Any other suggestions, guys?

Not sure I have the skills for that? It's almost totally fubar, but can still be shot. And, no, not yet.

Post a picture or two if you can, i'm curious. I do custom woodworking for a living, maybe it's not as far gone as you think.

Okay

I'll do that. I'm not looking to put a lot of cash into this deal though, the gun isn't worth that much.

I was thinking more along the lines of offering advice, but if it turns out to be more than you want to deal with, but not a major project, I have been known to take on these kinds of side jobs at bargain rates.

Thanks!

I'll definitely keep that in mind. I'm going to try and see how it handles shooting as is before I make any big decisions. If it's not too bad I might just roll with it, if it's uncomfortable, then we're taking some steps.
