it is carbeurated,i had a 2001 Victory that was fuel injected and it would only hiccup once in a while going across Colorado, but it would cruise all day and night at 80-85 mph,the Harley only likes to go 70-75.

all the stuff you hear about them being a little hotter was the case with mine.. i always did the usual carb and exhause stuff...only one time, (and i bought it that way) did i do the whole cam thing.. this was a superglide.. and it had been professionaly done.. the works.. and was the quickest harley i ever had till the police electra glide.. one of the last 80's and think the 3rd year for f.i. that puppy weighed a good 120 lbs more than the superglide and was as quick.. amazing scoot, and hated to sell it.. the only thing i didn't like was that i couldnt work on the fuel system, but back made all that a non issue anyway.. Man were a bunch o broke dicks with our back problems.. least i don't have any plates in me... Least i dont think i do..

put in a fence. One of them has backed out and is almost
sticking threw the skin where my collar bone used to be
