Our LittleDragon boi got a little upset and had a worse than normal reaction to it so I gave him a pretty big shot, just to make sure he didn't seize up on us. Please don't worry. He's fine. He's fast asleep in his bed now. I've lived with this all my life and I'm used to it, but I'm sure that many of you are not much aware about CP. It's a very strange thing sometimes. Most of the time you'd never know he was handicapped. He doesn't look handicapped. He doesn't roll around in a wheel chair either. In fact he's a co captain of our school's Swimming and Diving Team. He just got a little excited and a little upset and rather than take a chance I went and told dad and he told me to go ahead and give him his shot. He's fine, so please don't worry. But any prayers would sure be appreciated.

Thank you for asking about the number and types of rifles I own. I bought the Beretta with my own money that I saved. All four of the others were gifts from my dad and my ojiisan, that's grandpa in Nihongo. What kind of weapons do you own? Oh and you said something about being jealous of the weapons that some people own here I think? Don't be. The weapons you own are always special to you. So be proud of what you have and don't worry about what others have. Ok?

Jealousy and/or envy is good. It fuels progress, so long as it does not become all-consuming. Wow, that was some Zen wisdom stuff, huh? Maybe I'll call myself ConfuseUs. Like the Chinese guy, but not. "Ah so, ConfuseUs say if one does not covet magazine fed, gas operated, air cooled, semi automatic long range precision rifle like neighbor have, one will always be stuck with Marlin model 336 .30-30 lever rifle". THAT'S FORTUNE COOKIE STUFF, BABY!!!

You really are. There is even wisdom in your humor and I and my older brother really appreciate that a lot. We have been taught by our father to look up to and respect our elders, but as for me, somehow just because a person is older does not always mean they are worthy of respect. I for one am the type of guy whose respect has to be earned. You have most certainly earned my respect and I'm very glad to be friends with you. Btw would it be alright if I add you to my friends list here sir? Also I know now that you are a professional soldier. I would like to add my thanks to you for your service to our country. I also understand you have done a tour of duty in Iraq. This says to me that you are also a brave and noble man and for this you have earned my respect. But the most important reason of all that I honor and respect you is that even though you and my brother got off to a rocky start, you have found common ground and common interests and often agree on many issues of our times, and this is the reason most of all that you have earned my respect sir. Thank you very much for your friendship to my brother. I know it means a lot to him. I hope you understand this too. I really hopw our frienship can grow into something as strong as that which my older brother feels towards you.

Careful, send it.

My wife and I are going through rough times and I might have to leave her and come find you. EBEAR, IT MEANS NOTHING, I SWEAR!!! Thank you for your kind words. Feel free to add me to your list, and I agree completely with you about the elder thing. I have more respect for the 18 and 19 year old kids I've served with in Iraq for 39 months for their ability to handle any hardship or stress thrown at them while maintaining a rough sense of humor than I have for anyone else in the world. Old age means nothing to me if all you've done is existed. I think I may have found a like mind.

Even though i'm much more a middle of the road kind of guy than many of the true blue conservatives here, we often agree on many things. Your understanding of modern weaponry is just so much fun too. I really enjoy learning from you and in know my older brother ryo does too. btw, I'm being accused of monopolizing the computer so I'm going to take just a few minutes to wrap up some things and let my brother have a shot at the computer next. Also we will be having dinner soon in about a half hour or so.
As for us being of like mind about how respect should be earned instead of just given, I am 100 percent of like mind to you. I hope you will teach and instill this idea into that "Hoss" of a son of yours as well, and I know you will. Yes, if I were in the field or in urban combat situations like you and my dad have been, then I too would have a lot of respect for the 18 and 19 year olds who kick in the doors and go in with you. On this too we are indeed of like mind.

Simply put-- It is fun. They/He are/is having fun with us, and I am having fun with them/him. However, some of "their" postings are about serious world problems: I do not want our community members to be conned by errors, misinformation or disinformation, however innocently or carelessly they may have been posted. So, while it is fun, there is a serious side also.

What are you talking about LLE, phenytoin, diazepam, I'm sorry, but truth is there is a ton of meds for seizure control out there and anything can be converted to be injectable. Phenytoin isn't really used anymore and diazepam is a schedule 4 meaning it's per prescription only, so a person can be prescribed it and take it home all they must prove to a physician is that there is someone to control administration. Sure the situation isn't perfect because it's kids administering meds but still. The only things that can't be prescribed is schedule 5's and anything illegal.

dear tacdoc,

ryo take phenobarbitol by prescription from doctor. reason that little brother give injection is that he have very gentle touch with needle. he alway ask our pops if it alright to give injection and our pops must first approve. regardless of what LLE say, ryo trust own doctor and family about medication before anyone on the internet. ryo have CP and it athetoid type not spastic as other have say. little brother have gentle touch with injection and so ryo prefer him to give medicine instead of self or my pops. this is nothing out of the ordinary no matter what anyone say.

The words "seize up" in this case almost certainly do not refer to convulsive seizure; In the context of a CP,Spastic, it is much more likely that it refers to the clasical, uncontrollable hard contraction [spasm] of a muscle or muscle group. The drugs you mentioned are not appropriate for such a condition. The drug used to ameliorate the spastic condition is potentially lethal, if not administered correctly and followed closely by a Physician.

Anything is potentially lethal, hence why 16 y/o cheerleaders are od-ing on advil. No, injectable narcotics can be prescribed I know this for a fact. That is the point.

I'm sorry I jumped to seizing meds I had read in one of Ryo's posts about seizing and thought he had it in conjuction.

Athetoid is certainly a different set of problems, which can be helped by phenobarb as a sedative to induce sleep, and parental approval is certainly well implemented. But, I am skeptical about the wisdom of having a teenager administer the injection, unless trained and certified by their Physician, which hopefully is the case here.

Last nite I found your email. I tried to write back, but I done something wrong. My two friends send_it_boi and Bro. Little Dragon, asked for my outlook on the new nomination for the Supreme Court. and my take on Second Amendment, and my weapons that I have.
As for the Supreme Court, the woman that obama has anomanated My personal thoughts and feelings, are, she has done the Fire Fighters in NY City a grievous injustice. By the interview that was aired over TV.
The Fire Men were not dealt with right, meaning most passed the written test, and also the scenario portion of the requirements for the promotion. Now having said that, I add this, trying to keep it straight. The one's that failed, or got low marks, happened to be those other than Anglo Americans. The one particular Anglo who ACED the written exam, and oral half was denied by this newly nominated Judge, who I think judged with her "eyes" open her "robe" off and minus her "scales" No I would not want her to be on the Supreme Court! obama is as far left as one can get without moving to a Communist Country, he knows this woman. Before elections he said he would like to put someone in the Highest Court in the Land, who knows what it's like to grow up in poverty, to be the Minority, or to know what it's like to be Black, Hispanic,or to be discriminated against. Well in this Country the color of ones skin does not matter let alone the upbringing! A JUSTUS needs to only follow the CONSTITUTION of THESE UNITED STATES.

2nd Amendment to the Constitution, Should be kept HOLY! With this Holy Script, you and I should be able to walk down the street (any street USA) with our firearm attached to us. (My Opinion, NOT OPEN CARRY this is tacky, looks like a show off to me, a person who needs attention). with no Permit needed!!! Now the Gun Offender has forfeited his rites! No gun for You!!! "You could put your eye out" Can't trust you. Our Founding Fathers new what it was to be downtrodden, abused, over taxed, have their doors kicked down in the middle of the nite,to be hauled off to jail! This is why these MEN, got together and took Manny hours, Days, months to Pen these Great Words of Wisdom. I am 61 years old, when I was 25, I could walk into The First Ntl. Bank in Alamosa, Colorado with a pistol strapped to my leg, walk up to the teller and ether cash a check or make a withdrawal, and all the people in the bank would ignore the gun! My Grand Father an old Cowboy who lived in Texas, as a boy, always carried. He lived in Co. also and never went across the street with out His S&W .357 Mag under His arm. He could order firearms through the MAIL!!!! YEA And get them!!! The Bradies of the US has stopped all this, they punish the honest man for what the maggot's do.

Now the President_________ he is Communist!!!!!!!!!nuf said!!
Proud to be a friend of two young men Get well, and stay in # 1 place on the RANGE!!

ryo agree with you 100 percent. even though ryo was pretty sure what you would answer, it is how you answer and explain that ryo learn from. you explain your view about both question in way that plain for anyone to understand. you are a very wise and good man. ryo not have words to thank you for this answer, but will say that you have put in word exactly what ryo believe. my little brother feel just little tiny bit different about just a few thing you say such as walking into a bank with a loaded gun at your side, but for the most part he say he also agree with you. the thing about the bank is that in the world today it hard for security officer to tell if you are good guy or bad guy. but this is his only difference about all you have to say. he may be right he may be wrong and he freely admit this, but he just think that it just might not be good idea to walk into bank in these time with loaded gun. it only small difference. it not like person like Lyle san is bad person and both self and little brother would trust person like you with gun in any situation because we know little bit about you and what you believe and MOST of all we know you good guy, but security officer might not know this and so security office at bank is put in quandary neh. he or she not know you. not know that you have no intention to rob bank or make trouble of any kind. this is my little brother idea. ryo however understand your feeling and so does little brother. it just that if ryo were security officer at bank then think could tell by look in your eye that you just come to make deposit or cash check or any other legitimate business at bank. little brother thing that maybe it be little bit more difficult in today world to tell if person walking into bank with gun could be perfectly legitimate person or could be robber. little brother idea is not bad and is of course sir not directed against you personally. it general idea that maybe it just be hard to tell for security officer at bank. but he is also strong believer in 2nd amendment and to interpret it to mean that militia can easy be interpret to be one person with gun. therefore, on the whole other than this single occasion also agree with you sir. thank you so much for the wisdom and teaching you have taken the trouble to impart to us.

btw ryo did get two pm email from you but it only copy of email ryo first send without any information or reply included. most likely this not your fault but some fault with site control program. all of us in our family including our pops have had this problem happen to us before. get pm reply but no message was include. gomen nasai Lyle san. ryo very sorry if this is what happen, but am so very grateful that you take the time and trouble to give your opinion on open post so to make sure that we get. again ryo not have right word to thank you enough and this is also from little brother. both of us and our pops respect you so much. and it very special that you take the trouble to give us such wonderful detail to explain your answer to both question. you are good and wise and kind american person to work so hard to teach bois like us who do in fact come here to Gunslot to learn and to become better person from what we learn from such wonderful people like you sir. domo arigato goziemasu! (these are nihongo word that mean thank you so very much!)

Your friends alway,

LittleDragon and Send it Boi.
