As far as collectibles go I've got friend into collecting P08's and other nazi weapons of both wars. Modern weapons, well you name it its imported. So far us active shooters, we are only able to shoot handguns, and this is done on 1x range belonging to the armed forces. We have not been granted permission to use their rifle ranges as yet.
So I gather from 'your name' 1860 henry you're into colonial weapons.
We use these nice pieces for re enactment over here, we have some real nice period fortresses, which are run by volunteers. One of which houses a 100ton coastal gun, the only one of its sort in the world.
By all the talk it sounds like a civil war gun.....not sure though.....?????????????......I am confused now..........

It's a 17.72ins, muzzle loading, rifled gun, a top secret weapon at the time. loading was automatic with steam drived rams.
greasypaws
