Sorry you are under the weather.
Things are good in this part of Texas.
Cold and ice on the ground but doing ok.
badgirlj36
Over here it is windy and cold. The water buck's I have out side had ice on them.
CharlesW
I'm about 40 miles east of Waco.
My stock tank has about 3 inches
of ice on it.
At 7am it was 11 degrees here and
they cut the power off for 4 hours.
Conserving energy.
What kind of BS is that unless they
plan on shipping some elect up north.
badgirlj36
Wow OH NO Conserving energy, I would be wearing long john's, and two pair of socks, It's getting bad. is on 69 right now. What i do i put 1 blank then the elect blank then another blank, and that keep's me warm.
Shug22
We are doing great badgirl. It sounds like you need to get under the cover and sleep it off. Hope you feel better.
badgirlj36

Shug22
I am glad you haven't been sick in two years. I am sure you are going to be fine. I live about an hour north of Houston; we might be neighbors.
CharlesW
You are only a mile or 2 from me.
Texas is making a good show
here on GUNSLOT
Remember the Alamo
Shug22
Not quite that far north but Buffalo has a gun shop down town with a real nice owner.
badgirlj36

fixxer72
All you down there in Texas act like it's really cold or something.
CharlesW
Are you tring to make fun of us in Texas ?
Texas is supposed to be nice and warm
Why did you leave the door open?
Were you born in a barn or what
Shug22
If we had wanted to freeze our asses off, we would have moved to Illinois to live! Or Minnesota.
We are just whining my friend.
fixxer72
Oh hell no just funning with all of ya. We got 2 foot of snow dumped on us last night with 50mph winds. We got 6 to 8 foot drifts across the roads.Interstates are all closed airports closed and no mail delivery. And to top it off it's going down to 15 below tonight with windchill of -40.
luckybychoice
and a -22 wind chill index,i did pick up a pair of snowshoes, thats really something i would have to add to my shtf scenario stuff, otherwise going thru the snow would be a major pain in the hind end,and sticking to the roads/seeking shelter would be a bitch. The snowshoes are a great workout though,i tracked a wild turkey for a ways, then saw the coyote tracks, where the two met, there was wing imprints in the snow and some loose feathers, and turkey shit,i think the turkey flew away.No blood.

Thanks guys. I currently own a S&W model 13-2, it's 30+ years old and still a VERY reliable old wheel gun. I have an Ithaca mod 900 semi-auto (made by sks and imported by Ithaca) that my half brother gave me when my dad passed away. Also have a couple of .22s one is a revolver the other a semi-auto rifle. I am in the process of applying for my ccl and am looking to find a good semi-auto to carry. I am fortunate enough to have a boss who supports cc at work. He even loaned me a 1911 to qualify with on my cc class.
