WAS! looking for an 18 inch win. model 1200 12 gage. but no more, the gun is junk. bought at gun show, it feeds two shells at on time jams up everything, took it to gunsmith this last weekend he told me 1200's are not good guns and he could not fix it[no parts anymore] so i figger i can shot clays with it, cause i can't sell junk gun knowingly. to much info i know [live and learn] i am looking for a 12 gage riot wood stalk. is the win. modle 1300 a good gun?

check out www.e-gunparts.com it is numrich gun parts all they deal in is gun parts old and new they buy up old parts stock and guns from manufacturers and take them apart and sell the parts if anyone has parts for a 1200 it is these guys i get alot of parts formy project guns and restorations from them good luck

ok i looked for you they have tons of parts for the 1200 and they have parts for the 1300 too so go look hopefully your gunsmith told you what you needed and even if they tell u what part u need go here and buy it your self cause they mark up parts for profit

The newer winchester aren't so bad, just keep in mind though that the current winchesters are made in china. they now longer produce firearms in this country. I would void against buy a winchester for that fact. If you want wood check out the standard remington pumps 870 series. also mossberg model 500 series also. their both very good shotguns and affordable, and fixable if they need attention.
