A Holster from ISD

well ISD sent me a holster he made for me to review.I have had it on for a week now, wearing my Browning Hipower in it.ISD made it clear that he wanted a no BS unbiased appraisal of his holster. So here it goes,When i got it i set it on the counter and looked it over, fit, stitching, and overall craftsmanship. It did look a liitle different than leather holsters i had seen from Galco because the leather was supple and not formed around a mock BHP,although ISD had given me instructions on how to heat the holster in the oven and form it to fit my BHP.

I decided to leave the holster "as delivered" and put it on,the smell of dye was still gassing off the holster somewhat but has since quit,ISD must have literally just finished it and sent it to me.My BHP fit very well, full coverage over the trigger and barrel.I spent some time everyday now practicing draws and reholstering, which i am very happy with.I can even use the top of the holster to cycle the slide for one handed loading,The two layers of leather across help with that.

Overall i really like the fit, finish, and detail of the IWB holster ISD sent me,it keeps the pistol tight to my body, the mag well isn't poking out of my shirt or into my ribs, even while sitting down.I find it to be very comfortable, and the gun is accessable sitting(chair or car seat) with good retention at all times.I have got to say that i am now biased and not BSing when i say that ISD has put out a first rate holster. It is so comfortable i don't want to take it off.Sorry ISD you will not be getting this back, send me a bill. As it should be

I know if LBC had problems or concerns, ISD woul have heard from him in a PM or email. Listen up guys. LBC gives a glowing review. You bet your ass it is top shelf. Thanks to both! Yep, BS filter set on high.

I'm very glad you like it and thank you for your time in checking it out for me.

I really needed an unbiased opinion and now have it from two different people. Beyond those I know in person, shoot with on a regular basis or the friends of friends kind of deal.

Feel better about putting more time into making them and working on new designs....

As far as a bill goes, it's your's, you taking the time to test it out and give me feed back is more than worth it to me, please let me know if there is something needing to improve upon it. seriously....

Time, Use and wear will show where improvements can be gained...

thank you again..
