holsters (ISD..ya listening)..
Let me start by saying i have a holster i really like from ISD, (JD if you do this then question is answered).. I've decided to DO something i've been talking about for sometime.. I'm getting a couple of those RIA's in 9mm.. This is a done deal guys, all im reading, and hearing is so positive about them.. no brainer.. i've decided to go with the 9 .. cause im odd.. what ever.. Now the deal is i want to carry this "brace" in shoulder holsters.. i had exactly what i want 30 years ago down in Tucson. Bianchi made them.. i've looked all night, and not gettting anything.. sorta want hang downs cause of the 5" bbl, and what i had last time, but open..talk to me quys.. nylon is ok.. again ISD is first choice.. have you done shoulders, and feel like taking this on mr man.. a man has to hold his word, hold his beliefs, and hold a good sight picture. |

Your not weird, I'm looking at one or two myself. Lol! I'm just not wild about the design your talking about. Here is my concern..... If for whatever reason, the retaining snap comes loose, your guns are spilling all over the asphalt. Not really concerned about them firing, but will leave a hell of a ding. And Murphy says it will happen at the worst time.... Like at the store, in front of a cop. Lol!

look like I'm wearing a leg brace and easiest way to get my gun out of the holster is to take my trousers off.
How about that for a distracting maneuver?
Concealed carry does not work for me. I'm not willing to wear a Navy Bridge Coat year 'round to keep my SNS hidden.
In this region wearing even a light cotton wind breaker in the summer will get more attention than wearing combat boots and a Speedo, don't mention that to Ebear, please!!.
I'm not a fashion fanatic but there are many times wearing my shirt tail out is flat out wrong.
If open carry were allowed the occasional sight of the grips of my SNS would not be a prob.
Yep, I sometimes just dump it into my front trouser pocket. Difficult to draw, hangs up.

my crank fits snugly in the ankle holster. Starting to think that's what they were designed for but for that purpose I'm going to have to get a size 10 holster!

ha ha.. i've always said the vets a lot cheaper than regular docs.. come on.. like theirs that much diffrence between a good size shep and me.. Not sure i'd feel the same way if i could lick mine tho, but thats another story..
speaking of ball lick'n.. nah.. the roots arent kick'd in yet, and the good Lords watching..

Poor discriiption on my part.. meant on a vertical axis not horisontal.. the old tried and true butt up, and barrell down.. i'm shak'n my head here.. maybe Daisys comment on ebear.. the more im trying to be seriuos the more it sounds like something he'd write.. except not funny..
i'm with daisy on ankle holsters and having to drop trau to access.. (still happening) all i've seen go above the calf just south of knee, and fastest access is thru open waist..

back later.. serious note i tried a number of sights including Midway.. Would still like to have ISD do this if he does shoulder holsters.. For those of you who don't have one of his creations yet.. WAY good.. Guess Lucky has a number.. (sounds like im saying he's tok'n) all this and no spck..
