Home plumbing question

What is the recommended drop for a sewer line from the home to the septic tank? I think I remember 6" per 10' but Jeff doesn't remember too good anymore!

Thanks guys,

...

Don't forget to put the step down with a clean out outside the wall, mine drops about 12 " and then turns out to the city line dropping 1/4 " per foot....

Use Green PVC and most places are now calling to 6" pipe here, but I have 4" and it steps up at the main city like.

No sir, he fell into that bullet... Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!
