Hey there my fellow "gun nut's" and just nut's alike.. It's been a while since i have been able to grace the asylum that is gunslot...Since my last time online I bought that Sig p229 .40 that I asked about in an earlier thread>>I love it , the Sig is an outstanding firearm so thanks to all of you who provided feedback on that one.. I also recently graduated with an " associates in applied science " for criminal justice..Now I'm realizing that all those tattoos I paid so much money for aren't helping me get a job on the force.. So now I'm wrecked with college debt and have no career lined up..I thought for sure my military service and years working for a security firm would have seen past my ink , but guess not.. Maybe it's just because I live in a small town, who knows.. So how has the "Gunslot nation " been? whats new out there?

Long sleeves in the summer suck, huh?
I got nothing against ink, just institutions "frown" on it for some damn reason.
I'll probly get my first tat next year at my 30th wedding anniversary. Why not?
My wife and both daughters have one, or more.

After my service to this country I was home at my mom's house. This was just a week or two after I got out. My mom;s dog got out and was running down the street. By the time I caught up to him, the dog catcher had him in the truck. I asked the guy to give me my dog back, he has a collar and a license. He asked if I had an ID and I said of course. I handed him my military ID. He looked at it for 30 seconds and asked me if I had any other form of ID. My military ID WAS NOT good enough to get the dog away from the damn dog catcher. Just imagine how that made me feel. I can get onto an aircraft carrier, do my job, but I CAN'T get my dog back from the dog catcher.
